There are more missing children than anyone can know,and its amazing how many times it truly is just like poof the child vanishes with no clues. That is any loving mothers worst nightmare,and I cant even imagine what I would say or how I would act. Some women may be hysterical or some almost in a coma like state of shock. Police are human and make errors that in missing children cases could mean life or death. They should be looking at any and all leads in any case and I hope this little girl and the other missing children/teens/ppl out there find their way home. Often the not knowing is the biggest form of torture possible.

This could mean nothing but I read yesterday that the mother did not pass the lie detector test. The father has an alibi - he was at work and coworkers have backed this up. I hope if the mother isn't guilty the police don't ruin her life. On the other hand, if she is guilty, I hope they determine what happened.

I'm not sure the mother is guilty but there is something off. I'm wondering about the 2 sons, one is 8, don't know about the other. It wouldn't be the first time an accident happened and got covered up.

I live in Kansas City so needless to say this has been in the forefront here. Started with an Amber alert on the road signs we saw on the way to work that morning.
Sure hope that she is found and that whoever is responsible for her disappearance-or worse is quickly identified or discovered. They really seem to have nothing much to go on.

I was following the Kyron Horman story until there just wasn't anything to follow anymore 
I really hope in these cases, that if the child was abducted, they were "sold" to somebody that really wanted a child or something and will at least be taken care of and not hurt. Sounds weird, but if that's the alternative to finding the poor child's body somewhere

Our local news indicated a half our ago or so that police will be giving an update at or near 6:00 (we are central time). The first time they made mention it sounded as if police had something specific to update and were announcing the time they would do so. Now that I heard it again, it sounded as if they (local news station) have gotten police to agree to speak with them so I am unsure which it is.
I will update what they say.

They broke in just to say that the parents have "come back to join police at the table". The captain is very pleased and believes that will help in the investigation. A meeting in an undisclosed location is planned.
Multiple police cars and CSI van have arrived on the scene. Several officers are going over the front yard with metal detectors.
None of the 200 tips, including those involving possible sightings of Lisa, have been helpful/successful.
Sadly, it really still sounds as if they have zero leads.

Something could have happened prior to the dad's shift, but they went on to pretend everything was normal until they could try the middle of the night intruder ruse.

I'm not sure what to think about this case. To me, it looks like the mother is truly distraught about this. And they have all kinds of cute baby stuff hung on the walls in their house - the baby's footprint and hand print, just things that make you know the parents love that little girl. So I don't know what to think. I thought the mothers reactions were convincing and like someone else posted, she almost had me in tears along with her.
I hope they find something concrete out soon.

They interviewed a teenage neighbor, searched the yard (again) and yesterday they recreated the abduction through the window, etc. to see if it netted anything to think of or search for that they had not yet thought of or tried.

I think that headline is very misleading. They are not looking to arrest her, they just have nothing else to go on. I'll be curious to see what happens with this case.

Knowing how they often focus on the parents (particularly the mother) in these cases, it is probably smart to start making preparations in case of arrest. If you have other children, you would want to make sure other family members were ready to come get them at a moments notice.

I didn't see the interview, but this doesn't add up. Like...why didn't the dad have his phone? Who leaves a door unlocked with an infant in the house? Don't these people watch Criminal Minds? Where is Morgan? This reminds me of the episode where the kid killed his brother and the parents covered it up...the mother's emotions were very real, because she was mourning...but she was still lying.
