yeah to me even if she didn't do something to the baby herself she was very negligent (imo more than the average mom) and that lead to circumstances that endangered her baby girl. i understand about wanting to save face but once this became a national issue it was time to come clean and be completely honest. what else is she lying about or omitting? saving face goes out the window when you're trying to find your baby that's gone missing!! ah well...i just hate when these people get all sorts of people involved and use/waste resources when they are not being honest about things. it's wrong to send the authorities down the wrong path just to save face! it takes away from real kidnappings and issues.

Bradley said it was possible she blacked out after drinking, but denied that anything could have happened to Lisa while she was drunk. She said she drank about twice a week when her children were asleep and denied having a drinking problem.

"I don't see the problem with me having grownup time," she told Fox News' Megyn Kelly.

The above quote certainly adds another dimension to what has been reported so far. I agree that anytime the story starts changing, it doesn't look good.

Does anyone know at what time she is caught on tape buying the box of wine?
is it at all common to last see your baby at 6:40? don't you check babies often for diaper changes and feedings? 6:40 seems like a very early "last check"
At 10 months most babies don't have night feedings, and sleep through the night. My 9 month old goes down around 7-8pm and gets up 6-7am and I sure as heck am not going to randomly wake her up to change her diaper - sleep is SACRED. But I do have a video monitor I check often and I don't drink 10 glasses of wine and pass out in various locations around the house.

I don't know, maybe the parents are just really unintelligent, but lying about even the smallest details throws off the whole investigation and can cause delays in progress. Like, admitting now that she actually hadn't seen her since 6:30 when she'd been saying 10:30 all along opens up a whole new window of time where the baby was unaccounted for. And if she was concerned that it would make her look guilty, well guess what, lying makes you look ten times more guilty. I know innocent people are found guilty all the time, but if you have nothing to hide, I don't understand going into this with lies and deception when that could potentially cause delays in finding your child alive.

I sleep with my cell phone near me, within arm's reach. When I got a lot of land line calls, I'd bring the cordless handset near me as well. The three cell phones, all missing, but none in the bedroom seem to be a bit hard to grasp.

The missing cell phones is what got me. Why did they take their phones??? And why did everyone leave their phones at home???

And anyone who's idea of adult time is getting black out drunk with kids to look after, shouldnt have kids.

These type of people really pee me off. There kid goes "missing" and they bs so much no ones knows the truth until the kid comes up dead. All this effort is put into helping this family find out what happened to baby lisa, when eveything that comes out their mouth is a lie.

So what happenes when someone's child is really missing? No one believes them. Then the time they have to spend convincing people that their child is really missing, its too late!

I'm tired of hearing about missing children, only to find out their parents did something. if you dont wnat children don't have them!! How hard is that?!?! Just because you have the equipment does not mena you should be making babies.

I agree with these last few posts. If anything came out of the Casey Anthony mess, it's you don't lie to to authorities and spend state time/money to try to cover your ass.

In the end, if it is proven the parents had anything to do with her missing or dead, this all just makes it worse...

Amen. Not every pregnancy is planned, but it's 100% preventable and even if you carry a child to term and can't take care of them, there are social services that provide alternate options.

Quote from article:

"With Deborah Bradley, I see the roof leaking all over again. Bradley admits drinking heavily on top of taking anti-anxiety medication. She acknowledges she may have blacked out. She says she can't remember what happened that night. The only thing she "knows" is that she isn't responsible for harming her baby."

First off my dad has in the pass gotten drunk and taken anti-anxiety meds. The next day, has no memory of his abusive tirad against the poeple in the house or the braking of stuff, and even pulling up the neighbors flowers in their garden. So i know for a fact this mix can easily lead to something horrible happening. My sister and i was just lucky we were old enough that we could lock ourselves in the bedroom. This baby never had a chance.

Yeah, if she's combining drinking and anti-anxiety meds, she could be doing some crazy **** and remember nothing.

Based on the fact that the baby was sick and the mom was drinking, I wonder if this is a case of shaken baby syndrome that the family is trying to cover up?

I'm thinking maybe baby shaking (she was disturbing her mom's drunken stupor and overmedicating).

So all the lights were on and the front door was unlocked. #1. Did she leave the door unlocked? If not, then someone had a key. #2. I wouldn't think robbers would turn all the lights on, if they were robbing the house.

Nothing is making sense in this.

@cibc
This got me thinking about other missing kids as well that were all over the news. I looked up kyron hormon and haleigh cummings. I cannot believe in all three of these cases its believed a family member is involved or at least witholding critical information. Its so sad, being a parent is a priveledge not a burden or obligation as it seems so many see it.

On this case,im in tx and not getting much news coverage of baby lisa so hadnt heard she last checked on her at 6:40. That does seem a bit off. My kids are 10, 5 and 3. Even though they arent infants I check on them often. Hard to believe she would check on her and not look in at all or have a baby monitor.

Well, maybe if you've had 5-10 glasses of wine you might forget to check on the baby....

But then again, she's probably lying about even putting her down at 6:40, so who knows....

True. Just saw a news ad saying police got a warrant to search the home and were digging behind the shed in their backyard? Anyone hear about that and if they found anything?

I heard this on tv this morning. I don't think anything has been found yet. I don't have a tv at work.

This was posted about 1/2 hour ago.

Hmmmm. Early on in this thread, several posters speculated about Irwin's affect. Some theorized that he might have been sedated or in shock. I'm really starting to think the reason Irwin appeared the way he did was because he knew something.
