NO more saying "I'm too tired to workout tonight, I will start tomorrow."

NO more staying late at work because my boss "needs" me only to have her complain about overtime at the end of the week.

NO more Dunkins two times a week.

No more thinking I can eat all the pastries I want because I'm doing hot yoga 3-4 times a week. Not true! True when I was 21, not when I am 42.

2-3 times a month is the max.

Thumbs down

I know this isn't quite what we're doing in this thread, but I just want to say --

NO MORE MIGRAINES in November!

-- this comes after spending the afternoon

Sorry, just had to affirm this somewhere!

carry on.

Two days in! No meat or dairy so far, and more veggies and whole grains added to my diet! Went to the Asian market today and got a kabocha squash to try (recommended by Alicia Silverstone in The Kind Diet) and some green bok choy. If I'm going veggie, I might as well expand my repertoire.

Working on the no-Slurpees thing. I tried to go cold turkey on Halloween and got a migraine, so I'm tapering off on the caffeine. Only a small one yesterday.

I'm starting a No meat and No sweets/junkfood thing tomorrow. Going to do it for the whole month. (except on my birthday, and on thanksgiving).
So it's just going to be fruits, vegetables, water, and green tea.
Maybe some rice, occasionally.

Where's your protein? Unless by vegetables you also mean legumes and nuts?

You guys have inspired me. No soda in November. I don't drink the regular stuff but my office has 25c Diet Dr. Peppers in the soda machine and it has become a bad daily habit. I am switching to water and green tea.

I'm late to this thread, but I'm saying NO to clutter this month.

I have a lot on my plate (wife, mother of an almost 18-month old, I work, I'm a musician & active in my church), but I know plenty of people who have just as much (or more) on their plates and somehow they find time to keep their homes neat and tidy. I've got to stop using "I'm too busy" and "I'm too tired" as excuses.

So, starting tomorrow (I have the day off) I'm going to start doing some serious organizing.

Wish me luck.

I'm late too but I am saying no to cursing. I've got a potty mouth. On second thought maybe i should try this one word at a time. LOL. No F-bombs in November.

I started this a couple weeks ago. Every time I use the F word I put a mark on my hand in ink. I'm doing pretty well so far.

Guys, I have a confession. I cried, but not for the original reason that made me post my no cry rule- been really good at not crying for that reason- so that makes it kinda okay, right?
