I'm thinking about December, too. I have to be careful with making promises to myself that I can't keep, particularly this time of year. Soda has been mostly doable, though I've slipped here and there, I think it's made an impact on my default, which has been to reach for a soda. A month is such a good amount of time to make a small change. Now to figure out what other small change I want to make.

I bought a bag of sweeties today but I shared them with everyone at work and there's still some left. So it doesn't count :P

I'm doing pretty well with my November goals. I've worked out 10 days so far, have cut way back on booze and pop and cursing, I've stopped stressing and b1tching about every little thing (this has been the hardest one!!).
Hope you all are doing well!

for december but starting now....
i'm going to get a jumpstart but i think in dec i will commit to using my vitamix for breakfast. it was a huge investment that i haven't used and i think i'll benefit healthwise from having a juice drink or smoothie breakfast rather than breakfast tacos that i usually eat.
i'm also going to be on restriction from buying ANY books! i'm a book-ho i love books on a variety of topics. i buy them with good intentions. many i flip through but never read entirely. my book backlog is DEEP. i could not buy another book for 2 years and still be reading what i already have. so i'll get through the magazines (i'm a magazine-ho too) and books i already have and not purchase another in december, maybe longer. they can go in my amazon cart but i.will.not.buy.more.books (for now)!
i'll keep with no starbucks. too spendy and i'll start again with trying to get to work by 8:30 am.

I have not been very good about not crying. I don't have full out sob fetes like I did before committing to this goal, I just get a bit overwhelmed by the memories sometimes and I do shed a tear. I still have no regrets, which is very unusual for me, so I'm not doing too bad methinks.

I think I've done ok on some and great on others.
I've done ok with destressing and not letting things bother me so much. Still need to work on those.
I've done great with the cursing (much less use of the F word) and with working out (19 days this month, really good for me).
I drank almost no pop and did well with the booze if you don't count Thanksgiving day. : )

I think I said I wanted to work out more, drink more water, and never turn down sex.
Well, I don't think I've been drinking enough water, I've had the flu run through my house and now a little one with a broken leg, do the other two went out the window too.
I'd say I failed miserably

After my hungover need for a Coke, and then drinking a coupla gin and ginger ales, I had a late night Taco Bell experience in which I took a couple of drags on my husband's soda.
Other than that, I've had zero soda. Even when I get the special at the deli for lunch, and I've technically paid for a soda, I've gotten water instead of soda. Pretty happy with myself.

Well, I didn't have any more migraines! Woohoo! I really think getting that crappy windshield changed out has helped. Whew!
So, I'm affirming NO migraines for December either!
Jeep, how did you do for migraines? better?

I don't think any amount of wishing will make me have fewer migraines but I did make sure and take my meds at the first sign of them so I only had one full blown throw up cry hide in bed migraine this whole month (along with the dozen or so small easy to handle ones). So I'm cool with that!
And yay for your no more migraines!!!

Yeah, I guess I did have mild ones that I could better deal with, but none of those!

mine was being on a no buy for november. Had many temptations. Just browsed hair reviews and created a wishlist. I just ordered a sample hair kit from Ambrosia. Don't even really want to buy anything. *adjusts halo*

I'm not eliminating it completely, but I'm cutting way back on white carbs and sugary foods. Also, no skipping the gym. Hopefully, that will take care of the 5-10 lbs I'd like to lose.

NO NAPS NOVEMBER
I failed twice already BUT the second time I just got up because I KNEW the headache was not worth the sleep.
I can't do no foods because I know how I be. and if I restrict foods from me then I'll eventually fail and go cray cray all over that food I was trying to avoid.
I don't think I can go cray cray over naps unless I like sleep for 24 hours or nap 5x in a day...actually I've done that before. LOL
