I like the ones w~h posted, but I'm not sure they'd flatter me; I might need that squared off side.

I'm pretty sure I'm in the slow to evolve camp, cp. But thanks. My great grand-anything would likely be a dog. Or a human/dog mix. But not through human and dog sex.
Okay!
Still frame shopping.

Ready for a tangent?
I've recently been reading "Wild Cards I" (a shared world anthology edited by George RR Martin). Anywhoodle, in it, in 1946 an alien virus was unleashed over New York, and it affected people in different ways (some die, some are changed in good ways, some in bad). At least one was turned into a dog (with dog senses, but human thinking ability).
No point to this tangent really, your comment just reminded me of the story and I thought I'd share that with you.
/end tangent
On another note, I like cat eye shaped glasses. I have a pair of blinged out 1950's style sunglasses like that. I should wear them more.

I was going to say modern cat's eye also. Or subtle cat's eye.
nynaeve speaks truth.

Nevermind … I was going to post the link to the rest of the Microshape offerings because they have lots of cat eye frame variations, including squared off ones. Their frames are made for smaller faces, which can also work well with close set eyes.
But the more I poked around in there, it came back to me that the company seems to be defunct. Then I had the vague memory of undergoing the same search a couple years back when I got my current pair of eyeglasses and giving up because their website seemed out of date and no one seemed to carry their line.
The only ones that seem to be for sale are a couple "vintage" Microshapes frames on Etsy.

Try searching for ogi (brand) frames. They have smaller sizes for smaller heads!

Omigosh, Ogi's USA headquarters is in the next town, less than 10 miles from me. Kismet!

I never heard of Microshapes before! I wish they were still manufacturing them.
Also Google "Betsey Johnson Itsy Bitsy" and click shopping to see all of her smaller frames in their various shapes and colors. She has a couple of cat eye shapes.

The search for great glasses is always so much more fun than the wearing of glasses I once hoped would be great (but never are).

Okay!
I found a pair. They're this style, but with pale pinkish-lilac details instead of brown. The clear bridge and interior are good for my close-set eyes, and the pattern moves viewers' attention to the outside of the frames. They're very comfy, too.

Yay!
My glasses probably aren't the best shape for me, but they are red!

Wow! Great choice. I am a glasses connoisseur sort of, since I've worn glasses for more than half a century LOL.
I really like them - tres chic and I like your color choice too. The pattern is the best part though.
As my grandma would say - wear them in good health!
And Wile, yesss! I do definitely need glasses. Blind as a bat here.

Whhhhhhhhhhhy thank you, everyone.
I'll keep my chewers around for emergencies (guess who likes to gnaw on the ear pieces?), but I need no longer be ashamed in public. (At least not for that reason, once the new ones arrive.)
I think I've kind of been looking like the Nutty Professor.

I like them, ninja! What brand/style are they? I've got somewhat close set eyes as well and haven't been able to locate any glasses with a clear bridge.

They come in other shapes, too.

My pleasure.
Given the struggle I've had finding anything remotely flattering, I hope the information helps you.
