That is very nice of you. But I have no idea how to knit. And no idea what I would do with a pattern. Other than to find someone to make it for me. There is a reason I like everything in this thread. You all are so talented and I am jealous of all of you.
Make some for your daughter. She needs those! Have you taught her to knit yet?

My mom and I taught her but she's not really interested. She is very artsy though and paints and sculpts with clay.
I'm going to make her some purple boot covers this week. It's still too hot to wear them yet but I know she'll love them. I also met a little old lady yesterday who is sending me some fingerless glove patterns and DD is so excited.

I bought the dress my daughter is wearing but it was SEVEN sizes too big, so it got major alterations in both side seams and the back seam as well. I also added the black to bring the neckline up. She inherited (stole) the boots from me and we added leggings. I did her hair and cannot believe we didn't take a profile shot to show off her Mrs. Brady hair!!! Doh! My son could never seem to keep all of his costume pieces on at the same time...LOL. And he was disgusted by his sister's outfit. He said, "Those were such good pirate boots...." She didn't go with pirate because all the costumes for girls and women were slutty and she's pretty conservative. She is the one that asked for leggings and the fabric in the v-neck. Okay, here are the pics:

We had our show and it went alright. At least I made back what I spent in materials. We have enough inventory to do another one in a few weeks so hopefully that'll give me extra. Here's a pic of our table from a few weeks ago.
