Not at all his character development has been great so far. It's hard not to like him.

Yeah his character development good but here is the crazy part.....from the BEGINNING of the show its been Rumple and Regina storyline has been really intriguing and almost overshadows the good vs. evil overarching storyline. I'm just like they need to make Team Rumplestilksin Team Regina t-shirts.

Rose McGowan. What happened to her face! Such a beautiful girl? Why would she do all that? Although it did make her a more convincing Cora.

I just read that she claims she had surgery after a car accident. Apparently her sunglasses cut her face near her eye. Uh huh.

Regina is still my favorite character. I felt sorry for her this episode. I mean, it's no wonder she turned out evil...

Seriously, she juste wants someone to love her. Her mother, her fiance, and her son were all either taken away or didn't love her. She was actually really sweet in the beginning too!

I wonder what happened to make Cora not be the queen since she had to kill Ava... Something Rumple did for revenge probably.

Me, too! I was like "but Cora's dead... does that mean we don't get more of her story?" Because I really want to know!

I think the characters who turn evil are most interesting here, because they have back stories explaining how it happened. For example, with Regina we know it wasn't purely due to her mother killing her boyfriend, but also the withheld love her whole life, the mother who pointed her toward evil things - and now we know why her mother was that way - because she had no heart!

Now what I'm wondering is for all those characters whose hearts Regina took.... are they capable of true love? Of loving anyone? If her mother couldn't truly love as long as she didn't have her heart, does that mean there are many out there who can't have the magic of true love?

But we know Henry was Regina's father, so that must mean Ava was queen somewhere else. Henry wasn't also Snow's father (did anyone else notice Snow's father wasn't at her mother's funeral?).

I was trying to figure out in which land Cora would have been married to Regina's father and who that Prince was vs. who Snow's father was. I think Snow's father was in battle when Ava died - they did mention that he wasn't there at the time and were trying to get him quickly.

The prince that Cora married in the last episode was named Henry, and they had Regina. Ava had to find another prince to marry, which would be Prince Leopold (who becomes King Leopold, Snow's dad, and later Mr. Regina).

So what seems odd is that Regina, daughter of a prince, should have become a queen just through the passage of time. But for some reason Cora felt the need to make her queen in Snow's land. I'm betting that for some reason the monarchy that Cora and Regina were a part of fell apart, and they got away. Cora would have been able to use her gold spinning talent to acquire the funds build their manor home in Snow's land.

True, I agree that Ava was probably the queen somewhere else. I was saying that something would have had to happen to make Cora not the queen of where ever anymore...they said that Regina was supposed to be in line for the throne so something must have happened to kick Regina and Cora out of succession. Then Cora decided that she had to kill Ava to make Regina the queen of where ever else.

I was wondering what happened to make them "commoners" again. Not if the father of both was Snow and Regina was the same.

I didn't notice about the funeral thing but now that you mention it, that's true! I wonder what man could be so oblivious to everything that went on between Snow and Regina..

OK, so if the child from the flashbacks is the guy who crashed his car in the present, why does he look like Henry? Confused...

I thought for sure he would be Henry, and that somehow when he crossed the line he forgot about being Owen.

Yes! He is the same age as my daughter, and she is quite unimpressed by how he acts.

It's annoying to me that they don't make use of his character much. This whole season has been "keep Henry uninvolved! Must not let Henry in on anything!". But if you think back to the first episode, Henry manages to find his birth mom, leave Storybrook, go to Boston, track down his mother, and bring her back. That's some serious stuff for a kid his age! So he's obviously capable of being involved in this stuff, but the adults are stifling him. So he ends up being a whiny annoying kid who wants in on the action.
