Interesting twist on the wolf storyline!

So whose heart do we think that was? Did the queen plant it?

i think it was Catherine's heart and that Regina planted it.

and that was a *very* cool twist on the wolf's story!

I do, too. But not strongly. It leaves me too many questions like, how would MM get out of it? And there have been some teasers making it sound like Catherine is still alive - and wouldn't her heart be beating if that were the case?

I don't think Mary Margaret is slutty just because she was messing around with a married guy (although that doesn't help matters). She just seems really flaky and makes poor decisions when it comes to men. (i.e. the one night stand she had with that doctor when she got sloppy drunk). Then within the next couple of episodes she had switched to messing with David. That's what I mean by "slutty."

Last night's episode was great!

*please be the old sheriff, please be the old sheriff, please be the old sheriff*

I'm assuming that people and their hearts can be put back together and we'll get that guy back.
I am guessing MM's finger prints are on it because it's something she handled in the Fairytale and we'll find out about that soon.

I think people can get their hearts back (does this town not have a doctor, or does he find it normal for someone to not have a heart?) but I think the Sheriff is dead forever. However, they're apparently trying to work out timing to get him back as he isn't dead in fairytale land... He could actually come back somehow in Storybrooke, too, and comments we're seeing are meant to be misleading. Very good change...

I was guessing the same thing about how her fingerprints are on the box. I wonder if we'll see her handling the box in fairytale on the episode we've seen previews for where she wants to kill the queen.

A few big things in last night's episode! The ones I remember right now:

  • True love's kiss only works when characters remember who they are (!)
  • Our author is there for Emma... or perhaps because he wants to return everyone home, but knows she's the key. Regardless, he knows the truth.
  • Rumplestiltskin actually managed to bottle love
  • David remembered fairy tale land in his session with the Dr... so those memories are there!

About Catherine's heart? That's your last post on this thread, but doesn't mean you're not right about other theories, too!

I keep hoping somehow she's not dead... I'd like to know if Regina kills someone who tries to leave, the curse does, or what.

Is the heart-in-a-box how Regina got Kathryn (that's how they spell it on IMDb, so I'm going with it!) to be David's wife?

I don't know! I'm confused about how the characters work vs what they were in fairy tale land. Did Regina choose? Why would they have been married otherwise?

Regina and Mr. Gold certainly seem to be in charge of the whole shebang. if they control the magic, doesn't that mean they control the lives of everyone contained (for lack of a better word) by the spell?

Regina does, in that she has their hearts, or does she only have a certain number of people's hearts? We don't know that, do we?

Then Mr. Gold can leave, so he's one of four people we know for certain can come and go... I would guess Regina can leave town as well?

If the entire reason for moving to this place was to make Snow miserable, why did Regina take so long to start trying? I love the references she keeps making to not having been evil until her heart was broken. I look forward to that story, and wonder if in fact she has to remember who she is and re-find her true love... But perhaps it's Mr. Gold who has to find his, and the spell will be reversed if he does. I guess I don't know who has to truly fix it!

What amount do you think they control everyone's lives? I would think there's a limit, but it's a tv show and they come from fairy tale land... maybe they control lives a LOT. Or is there free will? In some ways, they are the creators of this will.

interesting question....

do people's lives in Storybrooke seem to (loosely) parallel their fairytale lives because Regina and Mr. Gold are pulling the strings to do so? or is it that even fairytale characters are doomed to repeat their life patterns just as so many mere mortals do?

i vote for the first one, but only because i think that's the nature of evil - to try to control.

I think it's a combination of the two. I think a part of them is still the same person they were - but perhaps if they were to violate that radically they would lose who they were altogether. For example, had Snow killed the Queen, she would have become as evil as the woman she killed. I assume if she were to do something like that in Storybrooke it would likewise change her that drastically.

I'm still waiting to see if James can remember who he is as a person at all, given right now... he's just not. Such a nitwit. Yet, he's the one who has accessed memories of fairy tale land, despite not knowing that was what he was seeing.

I find it interesting the way the actress playing Regina is playing her - she is not over the top evil like in fairy tale land, but rather tempered and real-person evil. Even less of a charicature of evil than an evil character on a soap opera. And yet, we know she has killed, and that she remembers everything.

Ok just watched tonights episode. I won't ruin it for anyone with spoilers.

But I'm starting to think that if Emma could succeed in giving someone their happy ending the curse could begin to break?

I'm SO MAD.

I live with my mother now, because she needs to not live alone. She is addicted to tv and spend hours every day like a zombie in front of it. This is the ONE SHOW I watch.

She screws around with the tv settings daily, and just like magic - my one show I care about, didn't record. Ugh.

No DSL, I can't.

@#$%@#

This is one of those times living with a passive aggressive witch is really annoying. Who knows why she's mad at me - she won't actually admit anything, she just does stupid stuff behind my back to try to be mean to me not to my face to get back at me for whatever she is mad about and will NEVER actually admit to my face.
