So sad  I was rooting for those two crazy mofo's
No link because I'm on my phone ... But apparently she is is blindsided and it's because of a massive fight caused because he wasn't respectful of her religious parents or friends.

Wow. I don't care for either of them individually, but they actually seemed like a nice couple. I hope they are able to resolve their differences.

I normally wouldn't comment because I don't give a flying fark about celebrity relationships, but it really annoys me when people who truly do have every material thing they could possibly want still can't manage to find a way to just be happy and enjoy each other and their good fortune. And, no, that's not to say that material wealth = happiness. I think most of you know what I mean.

Awwwww, I like Katy Perry, not a fan of Russell Brand though. Too bad they didn't work out.
I always thought he was a bit strange though. Just a weird guy.

If the OP is really why they're getting divorced, it's a stupid reason to get divorced. Don't people understand there are always going to be differences between two individuals? If you are looking for someone perfect who will never disagree with you, well I'm sorry, but it's a very lonely road ahead for you. There's probably a lot more to it than that, though.
I never liked them together, not for any logical reasons, I just can't stand Perry's music, whereas I do like Russel and think he's funny. But I'd rather he go back to his origins than have his talent wasted on bad hollywood movies.

I am not suprised at all, either. They were a mismatched pair from the start.
As someone else stated, she is a partier and he is a recovering addict. She comes from a religious background (so hard to believe) and he pretty much scorns that entire thing.

Q Maybe it's because they're always chasing something better. I feel like part of being a successful celebrity is always chasing the idea that you could have more (more album sales, more income, more awards, more projects, etc). In their line of work, you can never be happy with your current station in life because if you're not in the pursuit of "bigger, better, more" then you're well on your way to being irrelevant and unemployed. It seems like today's celebrities also apply this thinking to their personal life as well.
