Front door decor in January?

Like Tree40Likes

Rou, you have no idea how your compliment made me smile because if you could get a good close look at that bow you'd change your mind! I just squished together some loops and wrapped a twist-tie around it! Making a pretty bow escapes me and I usually get so frustrated I throw ribbon.

Wile E, i don't need the camera cable; as i posted in the xmas tree thread, i just took the SD card out of the camera and popped it into my computer. but even though i used the upload an image button here (after putting the pic on my Flickr account), it still didn't post!

Oh, rou, I guess somehow I missed that part
How about image shack? That's what I mostly use
This was my holiday door decor, inside and out. I took it down, but I guess I could have left the wreaths for winter. What do you think?

(PS - I made them myself)

CL, I like those a LOT and you definitely should have left the wreaths up! I've still got mine up!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
This reminded me...when I was a kid, we'd go to a big Super Bowl party every year.

And SO MANY of the houses in this area had BOTH Valentine's Day AND President's Day (cut-outs of George and Abe) decorations on their front doors! It was so random and funny. I used to count how many I saw.

This is the one I got...it kept speaking to me, even tho they had another one that was more expense and was marked down for a better overall cost. It was full of rose blooms and shaped in the V, but I love my curly VD wreath better! lol
The pic does not do it justice! It is real shiny and purdy

I love door decorations (as you can tell since I 'liked' every pic on this thread).
For March/April/May I have a grapevine wreath with ivy and a birdhouse.
For June/July/August I have a big metal sun.
For September/October/November I have a grapevine wreath with fall flowers and leaves.
For December I have a wreath with big sparkly balls (like Wile's but in red and green).
For Jan/February I used to have a twig wreath with crystally shattered icicles. Loved that thing but it finally fell apart. So I was going thru Big Lots after Xmas looking for a new wreath and came across this picture. Not your normal door decor but I love walking home and seeing it's bright colors from down the street. : )
