I'm making my way through the first season right now. I kind of have a thing for Mr. Bates for some reason.

I like the actress who plays Mrs. Crowley. I liked her as Mrs. Gardiner in the 2005 P&P. I'm always happy to see Maggie Smith, and found
the Clash of the Titans style reference to be pretty funny.

I watched both seasons straight through right after Christmas and can't wait for Season 3.
There's an amusing article on Downton Abbey in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette this week by Reg Henry. And he says Shirley McLaine will be in Season 3. That should be fun!

If I get desperate enough I may do that. I just hate Mr. Spring and I having to crowd around a little laptop screen when we've got such a huge TV we're used to watching stuff on. I've tried hooking my laptop up to the TV, but it looks awful.

Are you using HDMI cables? I watch online shows in on my flatscreen in HD. Looks just like regular tv.

How long is the waiting list? Go tell them to move you up on list because you need to discuss it with the curly gurls. : )
