Imagine.
But pronounce IMAGE - IN not imagine. WTF were the parents thinking. Also, Laqueesha and all variations thereof.

These names are hilarious and sad at the same time. The worst names I've heard in my life time:

Traumashika

****reatha

Babygirl

T9C (pronounced Tee-Nan-Cee)

Really people?!?! My daughter's name is Rhyan....simple.

Meh. Call shenanigans if you like. It was at a medical clinic and the mother corrected me for mispronouncing their names.

Yeah, I have a cousin who is a nurse who tells the same story. One of my college roommates had the same list of "patients" when she worked at Earl K (charity hospital) in BR. I guess L-a and the Jello twins really get around.

My husband collects names, he comes across, in a notebook.

I wish I has thought of doing that when I first started in healthcare.

My mom. Her name is Theda. I think that is why all of us kids have very mainstream names.

That poor man but he is infamous now. I hated when he was running for reelection and all those road signs!!

We have a client whose name is Richard Head but yep he goes by Dick. My landlord was Richard Powers and yes he goes by Dick.

I think its weird when people give their child "old people names." What I mean by that is, when the name only fits when the person is in their 70's.
I don't like it when people give their child two names in one. I teach a child in my class named AnnaPage. I just want to call her AP, Anna, or Page. Now that I think about it, that's an example of "old people name!"

I'm not sure how to pronounce the first one, but, in my head, it sounds like La Fellatio.

Came across a L-a the other day. How do you pronounce it, you ask? Well, me in all my white glory asked for "luh-uh", sort of...the closest phoenetically I could to how I thought she might pronounce it. WRONGO!!!!!!!!

It's Ladasha. Oh! Why didn't I immediately get that out of L-a? My bad!

I played softball with Crystal Spring Waters

I know a Brooke Lynn.

When I worked Mother/Baby I stopped asking the patients what they named their children. I heard a lot. Some liked to use words, they heard at the hospital, as names - such as Fentanyl. I don't know if they spelled it correctly. She chose to use it cause she liked how the med took away her pain.

And there was a master piano class at my school taught by Master Bates. Can't blame his parents for that, though.

Oh, yeah! Someone recently posted on twitter that her doctor brother recently delivered a baby named Y'all Jealous Jones. Swears it's true, but I don't have verification or anything.

Qadriyyah, pronounced like Ka-dree-ah
Pretty, but the spelling is very creative.
