Of course it was found unconstitutional. I don't know how anyone could think it wouldn't. You can't vote to take away basic civil rights.

im not sure its a good thing. had the supreme court not take up the case the lower court's decision that the ban was unconstitutional would have gone into affect immediately. now we have to wait until june to see the outcome which may or may not favor the gay community. if their decision is negative it will affect the whole nation not just california

Good point, but I'm hoping that the justices aren't idiots and see that gay people deserve the same rights as straight people.

I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case.
