I HATE other people's kids!

Crumbs are the reason I have dogs, you would never find brownie crumbs on my floor.

Wow. I think that even though I work outside the home, I am still a mom. I think that your statement is actually extremely offensive, and angers me very much.

Go ahead and be angry then because I still hold the opinion that it's impossible to do both a full-time job and full-time parenting and to do them both well. When I was a full-time working mom, my parenting really suffered, and it's the reason I stay home now. YMMV.

DO NOT add to my quotes, without making it perfectly clear that it was your addition. That is VERY poor form.

It's not perfectly clear. You should have said something like "bolded comments mine". The way you did it changed the whole meaning of my quote. I believe it's even unlawful to change someone's words and not make appropriate notations that changes were done.

Please excuse any typos. For the time being, we are blaming it on my computer.

Others may be happiest in the home and so that would be best for THEIR children.

(Note the above is not directed at any specific posters here, just a general statement)

Being a good parent is so much more about consciously making good use of the time that you have with your kids and putting their needs first, whether you stay at home or work outside of the home.
