I don't pretend to know a thing about how spam, spyware, viruses, etc work. But I wonder why this forum seems to be getting more and more spam. Other forums I visit never get any at all. And isn't it a weird coincidence that the Long Hair board and NC both seem to be having spam problems at the same time?
I don't know. It seems kind of virus-like to me, when a board can't keep the spam out.

As I understand it, there is some complicated and expensive programming that can keep out most spam. We have a pretty effective spam blocker at work. Not cheap, though.

I think Gretchen mentioned elsewhere that she's going to get her programming guru to try to come up with something.
