Anyone own a mac?

I was introduced to macs during college because I was studying graphic design. Most designers use macs because they are supposed to be faster than pc's for software speed, have a cleaner interface and are just easier to use.

I really like my mac but I get very fustrated sometimes. A lot of programs that are made for the pc are not made for the mac. Which I am mostly ok with because I don't need a lot of software but I miss Microsoft Money. Also browsing the internet with a mac can be a big PITA.

You can use and load windows on their new intel macs. Maybe I should look into that.
You have problems browsing the internet?? Like what? I have never used Microsoft Money, but I do use Quicken on my ibook, have you looked into that or do you just want MS Money?

What machine do you have? Are you using Safari or Firefox? Is it crashing or are you just having trouble with plug-ins?

I'm a life-long Mac nerd. I've used PCs and, yeah, you can get more stuff for them, but I never miss it once I go back to my Mac. My job even has one for me now, so I don't have to switch. I haven't tried the dual platform though. I don't think I would use it much.

My Blog
My mac came loaded with quickbooks but I can't figure out how to use it. Money is so much more straightforward. I don't need anything fancy, just like to keep a running tally of my expenditures and how much I have in accounts.

Some websites don't show up. Some of them are unreadable due to overlapping text. Can't view videos like the H&R Bloc video with springcurl on it.

I use firefox and have version 1.5.0.9. I have a dual 1.8 g5, it's a couple years old and I still have version 10.3.9 of OSX.

It sounds to me like maybe you need to get yours looked at?

What kind of mac do you have gekko and what version of OSX are you running? I assumed I couldn't watch the H&R Bloc video because it was in windows media player and I'm on a mac.

A PC if used correctly can be just as fast and easy to access as a Mac. Just have to know what UI to use as opposed to Microsoft's default.
