The thing that disgusts me about it is that, firstly, people actually THINK these things.. and secondly, they think it's actually OKAY to share these sick thoughts!

Their main belief is that appearance is of the utmost importance and determines the actual value of that human being's life. It matters not if a hypothetical woman has worked hard to earn 3 PhDs, volunteers all of her spare time to save sick children and lives in poverty so she can give all her money to the poor. This woman is not worthy of love or even existence because she is overweight?

People who believe that appearance is that important are so spiritually bankrupt. They don't get why we are here, what life is about or anything of real importance.

The nasty side of me likes to think of the day when these shallow people get old and gray and inevitably not so good looking and attractive anymore. In their own eyes, they have absolutely no value or purpose for living. Pathetic, and oh-so-great pay back for wasting their lives hating!

Honestly, it just makes the person who wrote it seem insecure and desperate. You can't "take" someone else's man, unless he was ready to go. And if you do, this is not something to be proud of - getting someone's leftovers.

I think the lady is fit, but although men like women of all shapes and sizes, most men seem to like a woman who is somewhat fit but "softer" looking.

My man would turn her down. She isn't fleshy enough for his taste.

The words aren't all that motivating. I'd probably drop kick the woman who got up in my face and said that.

I don't know why, but I just went on the Fitness section of Pinterest.

Goodness gracious. Don't go in there! It's a horrible place! There are so many pictures er, or whatever they're called, just like that one. Not all are quite so snarky, but they all annoy me!

What are people doing? Staring at these pictures while they do pilates and run on the treadmill, or what?

Here, I'll share the wealth!

I don't even care if they're true. They still get on my nerves.

What is that gap under the center bosom area of the woman in pink? That looks weird.

The expression on her face is nasty. She looks like a predator and it's vaguely masculine in an unpleasant way.

Yea me thinks that 2nd one is pretty photoshopped. the torso is odd looking and probably stretched. the most obvious though is the odd gap center-chest and the crease that goes up from the belly button but isn't continued in a straight line between the breasts. Yeaaaa.....ok.

I think that's her skin being pulled by the implants. I think I recall seeing that on Pamela Anderson when she wore a plunging neckline.

There's so much about that ad that makes my skin crawl. Shouldn't we be teaching young people to "live and let live" instead of "look like me or I'll steal your boyfriend"?

I want to see the ad that says "I'm going to gym, do what you gotta do and we'll meet for beers after"

Imho, the boxing gloves one does look a bit like Barbie.

We have to have breast implants to look healthy and sexy?

The woman in the boxing gloves is just gross.

The problem with these ads is that not everyone can look like the women in the pictures no matter how thin or muscular they are. Not everyone has those proportions.

I think a more effective ad would be a normal, fit looking woman crossing the finish line of a marathon or something like that, with the saying that yes you can do it. That would be more effective for me because it's true, if I put the time and effort in I could reach whatever fitness goal I had in mind, even if it's just getting through an aerobics class without feeling like I was going to die.

Stuff like that is idiotic, and I doubt it's intended to be helpful.

"Just eat less, dummy" isn't helpful advice, and feeling ashamed of your body isn't the basis for a healthy relationship with food.

Oh come on now, people. The woman in the ad is not "gross". Honestly, with that logic I could argue that a 5 foot 1, 352lb woman is gross, but I won't and I wouldn't, because I don't think that. Not to mention, I would get crucified on this board if I did.

There is nothing wrong with being really fit like that. It may not be for you, but that doesn't mean she looks freaky or weird.

I think she's gross because of that weirdness going on between her boobs.

All those posters make me want to do is eat bacon. So, mission not accomplished.

And I don't think any of those ladies looks gross, but the one in the pink bra does have either a bad boob job or an awful photoshop job in that pic. It almost looks like her shoulders and chest got cut and pasted onto a different person's abs.
