Yay!

The only thing I'd wished (so far) is that they'd spent more time at Lowood School since it was so formative in Jane's life.

My room mates and I watched this! We're such dorks... we actually tape all of the masterpiece theaters. We made sure to watch Casanova earlier this year... that was a great one too!

Yes I watched it and was pleasantly surprised.

Although I don't think it's as good as the 1940 film with Joan Fontaine and Orson Wells, it did try to flesh out more of the impact Rochester's actions had on her feelings. I can't wait to see the rest next week.

*sigh*

I guess I'm going to have to watch this version. I've got a silly prejudice against 1940s movies with the music playing melodramatically in the background, etc.

I love the version with William Hurt, though.

No, I missed it I had a migraine and wasn't watching nothing, but I love Masterpiece Theater. Will it reair? I'll check.

Reminds me, if you can catch Elizabeth I, see it. It's on HBO On Demand.

I only saw the last few minutes (when Blanche Ingram was there and Jane was leaving). When is the rest of it on- next Sunday?

I love and have the Samantha Morton/Ciaran Hinds version.

PS- my dog's name is Pilot

I thought the actors who played Jane & Rochester were too good looking, but they grew on me by the end!
