I caught part of the episode last night. GG sure is insecure!

And and that Sammy guys is only is his mid-30s??? YIKES! Looks at least 10 years older. I guess $$$ talks because it sure isn't his looks that must attract the ladies.

MJ is a hot mess.

I like Reza (but that moustache-- ooof!) and Asa is at least somewhat interesting to watch.

I'm enjoying it more this season.

Oh lord, my ex watches this show. He is so odd. He also watches real housewives of atlanta. I'm so the opposite, can't stand these type of shows. It's just funny because he's so typical dudish on some things and then he's the opposite on others.

I wouldn't put those two shows in the same category exactly.

I like SoS bc four of them are real estate professionals (my interest) and two others are entrepreneurs w/ interesting businesses. I also like learning a little bit about their culture. Honestly! LOL

I meant that they are reality shows with drama which I detest. Please remember that what they show is obviously displaying the worst stereotypes, same as any other reality show. I have some fb friends that agreed with this article -

I think that's silly. Most shows are going to play into racial stereotypes.

There is a lot of fabulosity on SoS...as on most reality shows. I don't hold that stuff against Persians. I actually think the show does a lot to dispel the old stereotypes (ppl like me, in the late 70s and 80s, had forced on them) about Iran and the Persian culture. Interesting to see how they struggle w/ religious and social mores...acknowleging that they aren't White, Christian Americans and clearly not wanting to be....unlike some other immigrant groups.

I like Lily, the Persian Barbie.
