I didn't watch last night, but I'm SHOCKED they were voted off.

What the WHAT!?! Good grief.

I know everyone likes Derek and he appears to be the best teacher out there... but Maria really didn't stand out to me, no matter what the judges may or may not have said.

Yes, I would have preferred William go home. But at this point all 4 are great, and I know if I were voting, Maria and Derek wouldn't have been the ones for whom I was voting.

To each her own, LOL. I totally disagree. I really liked Maria and was surprised at how much I did. And I normally tend to not favor Derek and his partner just because he is so good that I feel they sometimes have an unfair advantage. This is the one time that he and his partner were my first choice - I just found Maria's manner and personality very appealing. Didn't know much about her going in, having only seen her on Extra a few times.

I think the All Stars next season should be people who didn't win -- anyone in second place on down eligible. The person I thought should have won and didn't so I hope she comes back is Mel B. I thought she was much better than Helio (or however you spell his name) that season (think that's who she lost to. . . maybe I'm wrong).

Someone on TV suggested all the "voted out first" have a show to see who could be the most improved. I kind of like that idea. Of course, Kenny Main was my favorite first out.

A voted out first show might be painful to watch.

Awe. Michael Bolton! And that handsome young model Albert Reed! Shannon Doherty!

I like this idea!

um, hello! Donald and Peta did NOT deserve a perfect score for that freestyle. yes, it was fun and different, but they were obviously out of sync at least twice and he slipped and nearly fell at one point.

*sheesh*

what's the point of having judges if they're not going to judge?????

i LOVED Katherine and Mark's freestyle the best and i was glad to see that Cheryl played to William's strength in his freestyle, even if Len didn't like it.

i hope Katherine wins.

how about the rest of you?

I completely agree. Katherine got my votes tonight.

As far as technique, Donald and Peta may not have deserved a perfect score; but for entertainment value, they did. I look forward to the free style to be entertained. I expect the pros to come up with an "out of the box" routine. Katherine's and Mark's free style was great, but I didn't find it quite as entertaining as Donald's and Peta's. I thought Cheryl made a terrible choice for her free style. . . though with William a fan favorite it might not hurt them.

I think William is likely to win. I feel as if he's been overrated all along. And actually, the more we see him the less sexy I think he is.

Without the hype, I wouldn't have been cheering against William. But with it... meh.

I loved Catherine's dance, but loved Donald's even more. I have been wanting him to win because of how under the radar he was.

Ultimately, I think any of the final four would deserve it, so my preference is just because of personality rather than dance ability.

I just don't get the William frenzy. His looks are a bit bland to me.

I just watched the clips of the freestyles. Yay, no hip hop! I usually don't watch the freestyles because I usually hate them.

William - obligatory shirt-rip-off and floor slide, had a lot of potential, too much Cheryl, not enough William

Katherine - peppy, probably would have been better if Derek choreographed it, lots of mugging

Donald - fun, Peta is a brave woman to let an amateur fling her around like that, who's cowboy Troy?

I think Donald or Katherine should win, although it will probably be William.

I fell asleep and missed the majority of it, though I did see most of Donald and Peta and Cowboy Troy - it was fun, but I thought the judges overdid their praise, too

that is the wrong result - Katherine and Mark deserved to win; she was clearly the best dancer most consistently through the season including tonight.

you just have a lot of sports fans in the US who keep voting for the football players.

It's funny to open the thread and see who won when the show is just starting here.
