Yes, he fully well knew my background, which I talked to him about the first night we met. He complimented my hair all the time and compared it to that of other Black female celebrities.

He didn't tell me he was a Nazi. He did tell me his dad was racist and couldn't know about us. He then told me his dad was "suspicious" based on my voice on the phone. (I was young and naive and didn't know to run at this.) I saw the Nazi paraphanalia the first time I was at his house when his dad was not home and that's when I confronted him and he admitted it.

He said that he liked me because I was different from the other Blacks yada yada and stuff about my attractiveness and I think he was trying to tick off his dad and maybe struggling with the ideology to a degree.

Amneris, your story reminded me of the time my cousin bought a neo-nazis home. In her defense, she's not too bright, so i could see what she wouldnt think anything of the tattoos on his arms.

she bought him very proundly to my grandma's on a sunday, when the whole family would be there. when they walked in the door, my black momma was the first to see him with a swastika on his arm. she told me his eyes got real big. almost immediatly me, my sister and my vietmenese(sp) cousin walked in.

my cousin proceeded to introduce everyone, "This is my aunt"(my momma). "these are my cousins" (my sister, my cousin, and me)...

When she got to my uncle, my uncle got bright red. no one knew what to do, i was young and didnt even notice, i just knew no one liked this guy. i over heard some i heard my dad and uncle(with vietnese daughter) say they going to take him out the the woods. i heard a couple aunts say they always knew my cousin was stupid, but not that stupid.

i think the guy sensed his life was in danger, so him adn my cousin didnt stay long. once they left everything exploded! my grandma was pissed, i have never seen her like that ever!!! she said the only reason she didnt say anything was she didnt want to hurt her granddaughter and wanted my uncle to talk to her first. my uncles wanted to kill him. my aunts wanted to kill my cousin. they couldnt believe she would bring someone like that around her family, knowing who her family is!! she was so oblivious, they really thought she was just plan stupid and had no clue. i have never seen my family so angry!

a few days later, my uncle cooled down enough to go see his daughter. i'm not sure what was said, but that boy never showed his face around us any more. and every now and again, an uncle would say something like, "You remember that racist SOB (my cousin) brought to mom's?", while having a very suspicious smirk on his face. I honestly wouldnt put in pass my uncles if they did something to him.

Hubby and I were discussing the latest this am.
His thinking is that the reason there will be no grand jury investigation is b/c there would more than likely be an acquittal and no first-degree conviction.
The folks that have given feedback on this on several sources said they thought what the lead prosecutor did was very ballsy, to say the least.
Tho folks still think an arrest will be imminent...
