Default How to keep my heels from Slipping?

I bought a new pair of peep- toe 3 inch heels to wear to an event I'm attending in 2days. They're the right size but because I need a wide shoe the heels slip.
I already have heel grips in them but they're still slipping too much.
Is there anything I can use FROM HOME to help fix this more? Maybe something I can use for the ball of my foot?
*I don't have time to run all the way to the store to buy another liner either /:

Do you have any other inserts you can try in them?

Otherwise, even though the shoe is the right size doesn't mean
It fits. I have the same problem with needing a wide for the ball of my foot, and then using the heel liners. I find some brands/styles of shoes are just better than others, and some brands of heel liners work better in different shoes, too.

I don't have any other inserts at all /:
These are the closest size they had that fit, the next size up was much too large && the next size down had my baby toes crying! Lol
I've heard that putting hairspray on your feet was supposed to help but I'd like to try something a little more tangible first.. If that makes sense?

Makes sense to me, I have the same kind of problem. I don't know the answer, except to go to the store for the inserts, though. Hopefully one of our brilliant curlies will come up with a brilliant idea

I always put the cushion inserts in the ball of the foot and that tends to push my foot high enough to prevent the slipping.

This is exactly what I meant...even though it's definitely the closest size in this shoe, it doesn't mean that this shoe actually fits you. Everyone's feet are shaped different and certain shoes just work for different people. Just like other body parts! I mean, you wouldn't assume that every pair of jeans that is your size actually fits you the right way, right? Same thing with shoes.

I think I heard somewhere that if you put deodorant on the balls of your feet, it helps prevent the slipping around, but I can't remember for sure. I guess it couldn't hurt to try, right?

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Absolutely. Story of my life!

I would just make the time to buy another pair of shoes and return the ones you have bc they may never fit you satisfactorily, and if you wear them to the event you might not be able to return them afterwards.

My heel is narrow, and I slip a lot. A pad like this at the ball of the foot helps me.

Since you want something you have at home, I've heard of peope who use mini pads in their shoes, sticky side down. I've never tried it before but it could be worth a shot.
