Has anyone used the Lose It! app?

I just started using it to track my sugar consumption and noticed the default is for calorie counting only. Do you use it to track anything else?

Also, is calorie counting the key to losing weight? This app seems to suggest it is.
I prefer myfitnesspal to lose it. I use it to track my calories, fat, protein, sugar, carb and sodium intake daily and weekly. It has an extensive food list so updating my diary is really easy and its free.

I have it on my Kindle Fire. I only used it once. I was always told that the key to weight loss is calories in versus calories out. I have always watched my calories when I am watching my weight, but if anybody has a better method that is safe & works, I'd like to know what it is.
From what I've been told (and what's working for me) its calories in calories out AND its the ratio of protein/carbs/fat as well. Its the balance between the two that helps with weightloss.

Does myfitnesspal break down and help you keep track of the ratios?
yes and its free too!

I like it because you can personalize it to fit what you want. For instance the default setting for carbs/fat/protein ratio is 33%/33%/34% of your calories for the day. For me, I've found that if I go over 25% of my calories from carbs, I don't do as well. So I've set mine to carbs 25%/fat 25%/ protein 50%. You can also give it a specific caloric intake or use the defaults that it calculates based on your height/weight/BMI.

I like the app. I use it to track carbs, protein, fiber when I feel the need. I also add exercise.

Their calorie recommendations were to low for me, and I stalled my weight loss. I just up my requirements, and the weight loss kicked back in.

Siri types my posts for me.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

I guess I should say goodbye to eating blocks of horseradish cheddar in one sitting. That stuff is so good.
Five stars. It's not often I see that for any iPhone app. Can't wait to try it.
I have myfitnesspal. I've never actually used it but I've heard it's great! I plan to start using it soon to see what I'm eating and make changes to better my diet.

I use LoseIt and it has worked well for me. I only count calories and have lots of customized food entries.
