I used to have a Pug dog who licked walls. Just random walls. She licked the wall outside my bedroom door so much that she wore a hole straight through the sheetrock.

Oh yeah. One of my dogs likes to lick things too... He seems to favor table legs and leather couches. It's so funny to watch, because he feels the need to "sneak" licks instead of outright licking things. So when he thinks no one is looking, he'll stick his tongue out (without moving the rest of his snout) further and further until he makes contact with the couch/table/etc.

My dog likes to lick the soap off my shoulder when I take a tub bath. She props herself up on the tub ledge and starts licking once she knows I've soaped up. She's done that since she was tall enough to reach. I only let her get a couple of licks in, though, because I don't want to take a chance on the soap making her sick.

If I show up while my bird is eating, he'll stop and go back to his perch and start doing something else like cleaning himself or playing. Eventually he goes back to eat. Also, he yells at squirrels

Try eating around him and see what happens. Birds are social eaters and get mad if you eat and do not provide food for the whole flock. If he still wants privacy to eat them I suspect he is a Russian spy and to proceed with caution.

OMG these are hilarious, I want to "like" every post!!

My cat, when looking out of the window at birds in the tree, makes these noises that sound like chirping/barking. She doesn't sound like a cat at all! Sometimes she does it even when she's just near the window with the tree outside of it but not looking at them. I guess she can hear or smell that the birds are there.

She also sometimes takes a big bite of food and carries it outside of her food dish to eat, just like someone's dog does. Maybe this is some instinctual thing cats and dogs did when they weren't domesticated, like take your meat away from the animal you just killed so predators won't find you?

Anyone else's cat tear cardboard boxes to shreds? They never eat the cardboard but they will tear a box into a thousand little pieces...

My mother's cat did this for about four years and then quit.

You can see a cat do it in this funny cat video.

My cat too on the chirping noises and on the cardboard boxes (and paper bags). Sometimes it's when he's looking out the window and there are birds ... Sometimes he's just being a weirdo.

The eating habits of my bearded dragons:

Bane will not eat salad if anyone is watching her. If she catches you looking at her she will freeze mid-bite. Sometimes she'll quickly look away as if to say, "oh I wasn't doing anything."

Astarte, she doesn't do this anymore, but she used to stalk and hunt her salad. She would slowly creep up on her bowl, then once she got within a few inches she would charge and try to take a bite and run away. If she missed, she would circle around to attack from a different angle.

And both of them, when they're hungry they're stand on the edge of their bowl. They'll look down into the bowl, then at me, then back at the bowl. And if they're really hungry they're stare really intensely into the bowl as though they're trying to will noms to appear.

Now that I think of it, my german pointer is freaking weird... oh that dog...
She always licks things, then STOPS mid-lick so her tongue is sticking out, as if she just forgot what she was doing.

Plus, she'll eat anything I give her. Literally. I fed her rose petals yesterday xD.

My current an previous cat also did the chirping noise thing at birds..I think they were trying to imitate them so the bird would come closer...lol

My cat Pudge licks people...if I pet her while she's washing...she'll just lick my hand too. Sometimes she'll just wait till ur sitting there to lick u.

Oh yeah...and she has a thing with doorstops, she plays with them and flings them away...I notice when all the doors close. Then the other day she was chasing the doormat...it wasn't going anywhere...lol

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

They both do this! I still don't understand why!
Mine does this too. I am forever stepping on kibble.

My dog is afraid of the dark. If he wants to go upstairs in the evening, he will sit at the base of the stairs and cry until someone turns the light on for him. And he really has no good reason to go upstairs, either, except that apparently the water in the bowl up there tastes better or something.

Lately, he has also been insisting on having an extended standoff with a nearby "for rent" sign every. single. time. I take him out. You'd think he'd figure out by now that its not going to growl or bark back at him. But no, he is a grumpy old man, and that sign is MUCH too close to his lawn.

Such cute stories.

My cat HAS to play this little game every night before we go to bed or he will cry and mew his little head off. Basically, he meows to let me know that he's at the bottom of the steps (there are only 6 of them). Then I have to come out of the bedroom and "chase" him into the kitchen.

But it's ONLY at night once the lights are turned off. He never does this any other time of the day. Crazy cat!

Our family dog, Max, loves to wash his face on the wet face cloths we leave on the side of the tub. He just moves his face back and forth over them until his face is damp and he feels clean!!

Gracie's such a finicky little eater at times that I sometimes have to make a game out of it and pretend I'm going to get whatever it is before she'll ever eat it.

She's become really bad about it lately with her "hippy pills" - Phycox chews that I give her for a bothersome hip. I have to put her on the ottoman in front of me then creep my hand up on it like a spider and let her bark and snap at me several times before she finally gives in and eats it. She loves the things and used to usually snap them right up, but she's come to love the game so much that I have to always do it now.

The funny little thing will really snap at me sometimes, and I let her actually get my hand, knowing she can't really do much harm - she's little and has lost some teeth. When she actually gets me, she has to stop and lick my hand all over, as if she feels guilty.

She's another one that carries the little bites of food away from her bowl to eat them - usually to the carpet right in the doorway into the kitchen where I never fail to step on it. She also throws pieces out all around her bowl - don't know why, they're just like all the rest, LOL.

I tried her on Blue recently, and she hated those blue crystal thingies and tossed them all over the place - very opinionated!

Do you really think nothing's there sometimes when they make that chirping sound? My cat will sometimes be sitting on the couch and look towards my window with no tree outside of it, there's just a brick wall, and start chirping. I figure there's a bug or something out there, but maybe she's just being a weirdo too.
