Because most of the time ppl that tell me they don't believe in religion or some type of creator either say they believe we evolved it just came about as superior beings in a random way. I was jus curious

Belief in a deity and acceptance of evolution are not mutually exclusive. There are many people that believe in a creator that "influenced" evolution.
Evolution is not a belief, it is a scientific process which has occurred and continues to occur.

I believe in science. Period. Science supports evolution. Science doesn't support fantastical creator-creatures in the sky.

Yea I don't think one has to believe either or. I've just talked to a lot of ppl who say we don't have a purpose on earth, it could have easily been the apes who are superior. It was just evolution. For me, evolution is a belief. I believe evolution exists, but I also believe that we are/were put here for a reason.

I've heard the term but don't know what it means. I get from these posts that it's some kind of secret government group? I don't believe in that, but I believe there is going to be some kind of major crisis fairly soon. Too many things point to it, and I don't mean religious signs. I don't think it's the end of the world, but a lot of people will die before it's over. I think a lot of the higher-ups know this and even if they could do something about it wouldn't because it's what they want. I'm ok with it because it sucks to have to keep trying to thrive in these conditions when you know the economy won't get better.

Um...what?
Of course the economy will improve. It always does. These things come in cycles. We've boom/busted many times in the history of the USA.
Don't a "lot of people" always die?
Illuminati is pretty easy to google if you don't know what/who they were/are.

The factors that our economy faces now have never been an issue before - extreme decline of natural resources being the most important. I don't see a fix, and our economy is already near-depression. A group from MIT recently put out a report about a major collapse in 2030. I dismiss some of it as media scares, but it's kind of obvious that we're going nowhere good.
Also, there is no need to be so rude. I could google if I cared, but I don't. Thanks for that super suggestion! I get the gist, and like I said, the closest I see to a such a thing in the U.S. is "the good 'ol boys club."

I definitely agree with the bolded. IDK if it's a result of bad economic times for a lot of the world or what but there seems to be a lot more crazy stuff going on. Not really more crime but more extreme incidents. I haven't seen any figures suggesting this but there also seems to be more people with bipolar and schizophrenia. I hardly even heard mention of these until now it's like everyone and their brother is bipolar. Maybe there is some sort of secret society thing in control.

Being a Biology major I do not believe we evolve from the apes, there are new scientific fact that states that we human who are homo sapien sapien do not evolve from the apes but rather that we evolve from the big bang theory of simple organic molecules forming complex molecules dues to atmospheric gas exchange which happen to be oxygen!!! The theory that we evolve is true but definitely not from apes even though we are homologous in characteristics. Scientific evidence keeps changing because even science itself cannot tell where nature evolved from or how human came onto existence!!! No one can truly pinpoint the existence of mankind not even scientist because their theories keep changing as they find more evidence.

It means "the Jews," or "Lady Gaga," or both. It's lazy people pretending there are supervillains out there, instead of developing a nuanced worldview and dealing with real problems.
More diagnoses isn't the same as more cases. And I have no idea whether there actually are more diagnoses. It could easily be that you're just hearing about it more often, or that you're paying more attention when it's brought up.

Scientists have long established that humans did not evolve from apes. Some like to lump apes and humans together under the genus Homo, but even that's controversial.
There is ample proof however, that humans are in the same subfamily as apes, which is not the same as evolving from them. We are just related to and comparable to apes is all.
Not to mention, the "Big Bang Theory" is also controversial.
ETA: It's always been my opinion that opposition to evolution also stems from the idea that humans are above "lesser" animals. So any mention of us evolving from "apes" undermines our skewed reality and weakens our deathgrip on the world.

As far as the illuminati go,those who are said to worship the devil, I ultimately think they are wasting time if their goal is to take over anything or influence others through music and the like (since that apparently is their mode of influence) because at the end of the day (life) everyone will be held in account for their actions and intents.
I feel like for ppl to believe in something the Opposite of god-satan-who is a thing of disaster-just to feel from morals, rather than believe in something of love and show moral restraint is pretty crazy. I know ppl who personally say there is no God or Jesus yet they believe fully that satan is all powerful. God created satan...lol
I dunno, I don't see the logic in that. In reality, this isn't what this thread is about lol. This is a tangent lol.
Do I believe in it, yea in a way. It's possible. Is it stupid, yep probably.

Also I've seen a lot of people claim bipolar, manic depression as an excuse for different unaccepted behaviors. Many people think its just a matter of taking medicines that makes the difference. Also I've seen people who when they have a sudden change in attitude they say of he's bipolar.
This totally pisses me off because most people really have NO IDEA how it is to have a bipolar, manic depressive, schizophrenic RAISE YOU. I do, and living ain't easy. And that disorder(s) is seriously nothing to take lightly.
But anywho, small rant. Please continue

I tend to disbelieve these kinds of conspiracy theories because if there was such a massive conspiracy, I would think they would disguise themselves better and be less well-known.
then again, it could be a ploy to send out enough false information about the Illuminati so that no one believes any real proof that the Illuminati are ruling the world.
But I don't think the Illuminati are ruling the world. And either way, the world looks the same.

I love a good conspiracy theory .
Conspiracy theorists used to bang on about a society with some of the world's richest people , higher ups in the various governments, business e.t.c. Most people thought it didn't exist until this 'secret society actually met . I think its called the bilderberg or so .
I do believe these societies exist I just don't think they are controlling the world or what not.
As an aside, Americans keep complaining about how worse their economy is , I think European countries would take a 2.2% growth over double dip recessions. (I just had to put that there)
