I don't believe in the devil-worshipping-or-the-we-run-the-whole-world Illuminati, but secret societies do exist. There are plenty in Africa and elsewhere around the globe.

Do I believe there are groups of people who call themselves Illuminati or similar? Sure, why not. People do all sorts of crazy things. Do I believe Ilumminati or similar groups are secretly ruling the world? No.

However, I do believe there are various individuals and groups whom we don't know much about who have an inordinate amount of power to manipulate things in their favor. I just don't think they're as organized as the conspiracy theorists might believe. People like the Koch Brothers have bought a lot of influence over American politics in recent years.

Ha I asked about this in the say iy I dare u thread. Yea I believe it exists but I also believe that THEY believe they're in charge when they aren't lol.
If devil worshipping is involved then too bad for them. I just think its crazy that people worship something (satan) that promises earthly pleasure (esp knowing just how short life is) then once they die they get nothing in return. They just die and go to hell with the thing they worship.

I guess that's true. I'm just going off what I know of personally. From what I know/knew they believe in the devil but not in god. Or that they believe in god but its a bunch of bull. I do try not to generalize, despite my religion. Its hard to do though

I do believe they exist definitely!! Do they rule the world?? Maybe or maybe not who know. People who do belong to secret occult or group tend to make things work in their favor even when the whole world is in chaos!!! They bring themselves fame and fortune while watching others wallowing in the misery!!! But I do believe whether real or fake or non existence they will end one day and reap whatever they soul. Even if you serve the devil PR.demon itself you still reap the reward of your service and he fives it to its servant plentiful lol

Also I don't think the Illuminati (as they were originally in Galileo's time) are active anymore.

I know a Freemason. It's just a club for businessmen to dress up in silly hats, sashes and drink.

Personally I don't know if they are but sincerely too I really don't care because there are too many crazy things going on in the world right now, you don't know who is real or fake anymore!!! Everyone is all about me me me!!! As the devil worshippers good for them. I could careless who the Illuminati worship!!! But I do think they exist though but maybe not as a devil worshippers

my cousin was just droning on about the illuminati a couple weeks ago. i tried to interject and explain to her where the illuminati originated. she shot me down and continued to "educate" me. i wanted to stab myself in the face. i kept zoning out, but i do remember her saying something about the hip hop community, and tupac, and no-homo.

what the hec does tupac got to do with anything?!?!?!

i had never been so confused in my life. i just remember thinking, "you are too old to be this gullible". no i do not belive the illuminiti is trying to take over the world, with their new world order. as others have mentioned, i do think there are groups of very powerful, very reach people who has pull.

A friend of my brothers was recently on a less well known reality show. Some guy kept posting youtube rants that the guy was a member of the Illuminate. That's just so random. Wouldn't he have picked a bigger show with a better pay off?
