It's an idiotic name for a little girl. What's wrong with normal, sweet girl names?

I think it sounds cute! The "-ell" can sound feminine and Drew is spunky and sharp and feminized by Miss Barrymore.

I know Jessica gets a lot of hate (not here, but I've seen it other places) but I like her. I think she seems very sweet.

I also don't think it's the worst name in the world. This baby's cousin's name is Bronx, after all. She got off easy.

My mom's name is Michael. And that's my middle name.

just "a" girl? thought she might have been having at least 2. (snicker)
despite my swipe at her weight gain, i sure hope she doesn't do some crazy diet to lose her baby weight.
it's okay to be a little plump at first.
i think it's kinda sexy.

LOL!! I didn't even consider any other way to interpret that when I wrote it! The Ashley effect and individual human transsexuality coexisting in one little phrase - that's awesome.

I went to school with and my sons 3rd grade (female) teachers name was Shawn...many unisex names out there you wouldn't expect...I like it!

How do you get Drew from Maxwell?

I guess. But I do not want to lumped into the group who thought painting the little boy's toenails was horrible because I totally disagreed with their outrage. My daughter used to paint her dad's toenails.

Maybe she just announced it early and started showing immediately, but it feels like that girl has been pregnant for five years.

And doesn't she already have a deal with Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers or something?

I think her pregnancy seemed longer than most because the media had been speculating about it long before she was actually pregnant.

Not lumping anyone into the group that freaked out over a little toenail polish. I think that the general consensus here was that that whole uproar was completely ridiculous, so the curlies in general can't be lumped into that group at all. I was just pointing out this recurring societal theme.

Drew was her middle name.

I read several weeks ago that they were going to call her Maxie.

I like Shawn and Michael for girls.

My oldest daughter is named Bailey.

Good for her! I do like the name Maxwell but not for a girl. Jessica says they will call her "Maxi"..not crazy about that either. I say take the "i" off. And call her Max! Now that's cool!
