Are you cool enough?
Are there things you see other people do and think "I wish I could be that cool"
At work, we were given these foolish stamps with our name and cell# on them for stamping paperwork.
One of the guys that works for me said I should take it when I go out scoopin' and if I see a guy I like, stamp him.
On the one hand I think it's a hilarious idea but on the other I just don't think I'm cool enough to pull it off. I have a friend who is cool enough and she'd make it look all cool, casual and confidant. Like "you should be honored I chose you to stamp" Me? I'd probably trip and stamp his forehead...and possibly poke out an eye.

I wasn't cool when I was young, I'm not cool now, and in all likelihood I never will be cool. At least not on the outside. Now, on the inside I'm way cool.

I'd probably stamp the one weirdo in the bunch, then regret it mightily.

I could never pull off the stamp thing. I've never been cool & never will be. I'm okay with my nerdy self. My husband thinks I'm cool, but love has made him delusional LOL.

I was way cool when I was between the ages of 18 and 30.
Now, not so much. I don't even know what "scoopin'" is...

Oh that would be adorable! I could never pull that off. Not because I'm not cool enough,* but because I'm not a playful person like that. If I were to try that, it would probably come across as, "Call me or else, a-hole."
*I mean, I'm NOT cool, but that's not the reason that particular stunt wouldn't work.

I'm not cool, but that's okay with me. I rather enjoy being a nerd.

I'd totally do the stamp thing. But I don't think that's a sign of being cool... it's more that I'm weird, and totally don't give a ... censored word... if someone else thinks poorly of me for doing it. That's their problem, not mine.
I'm cool enough to satisfy myself, and really my definition of "cool" is someone true to themselves, happy, doing what they want while being a good person - not about someone who the masses admire and want to be like regardless of what is going on inside them. Apparently before I got back into horses a lot of people I know thought I was cool and were envious of me - besides winning contests to name hair products, I helped found a national women's organization, regularly went to pro baseball games and kept score, helped promote indie musicians and music festivals, traveled to various other countries, all while being a rocket scientist. But.... meh, I was having fun and happy. Nothing about it was to "be cool." Now I don't do much besides ride horses, and I don't miss any of that stuff, because horses are my passion, and I was smart enough with my money to be able to make this work as I wanted and still take care of my mom financially, too.
I guess I just own my choices, and if I wanted to do the stamp thing, I would, and I'd OWN it, and it'd work for me.

I don't know. On most days, no, I wouldn't be able to pull that off. But there are days when I just go for it and do things that surprise me. It's quite the rush.
Now as for being cool, I'm decidedly un-. I'm cool with it.

Re: scoopin': Ordinarily, I'd have said it's what one does with coffee or ice cream, but in this case, context is all.
(i.e., you're cooler than you think)

I love that stamp idea! I would totally do it.
I'd probably expect the stamp to wear off before they save it, though.

I'd do the stamp thing!!
I don't know if I'm cool. I think I'm.... eclectic? I realized the other day when I was walking into work that I was wearing bowling shoes, carrying a "Pride and Prejudice" totebag and had a "Star Wars" pocketbook.

You fit my definition of cool perfectly.
The fact you're a hot mom just enhances that, but is not a requirement.

That was actually my Mom's word from high school. She tends to make up stuff...she's the Silverfox, she's allowed.
