Footwear on a motorized vehicle should be about safety. Those don't look very safe. The clothing is OK...will probably protect her a bit if she falls.
Aren't Vespas technically motor scooters...not really a "bike."

Those shoes look scary!

Pants should fit better. And yeah, completely impractical shoes for riding a bike. Maybe in a movie.

It's probably just a fashion shoot. Form over function. Look at the Gaussian blur. Definitely photoshopped

I saw that shot on The Sartorialist the other day and thought it was cool!

All I know is if I were 30 years younger, 30 pounds lighter, and 8 inches taller, I would be rocking that look.

Scrills, how can you tell it's photoshopped? I just assumed a shallow DoF was used. You have a very good eye if Guassian Blur was indeed used on that image.

Frau, I agree. That's a really cool shot. I like it.

I could be wrong, but it looks a little edited to me. Shrug
Those shoes look like they could hurt somebody!!

OT but related, I once saw a woman get off of a Hayabusa (one of the world's fastest motorcycles) in some stiletto boots. Definitely not safe, but I was like "dammm, she's bad!"

She looks cool. Just cool. And I've been trying to think of an excuse to get a Vespa for like...a really long time.
Scrills, believe it or not, I have a cheap Vespa knock-off (in pink); if you can make it work, you can have it. Almost being hit a few times and a friend being killed on his motorcycle turned me off to riding it.

I have seen a woman in very high heels riding a motorcycle. No helmet, in traffic, rush hour on a busy road. She did look cool, but her vulnerability was terrifying.

I'd like to be that cool. How can some people look so effortless?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Am I the only one who can't see the pic?!

All I see is a gray box...
