Disgusting. That poor man (the homeless guy, not the cop).

I read about this earlier and it's so awful. And the idea that the guy called for his dad as he was dying... as a parent I can't even imagine what it would be like to think my daughter cried out for me and I wasn't there to help her.

By the way, be careful if you're going to look for more news about this. A lot of the articles display very disturbing photos of the victim with his face completely smashed in, dying in his hospital bed.

This is terribly sad. I made the mistake of looking it up. Sad. Sad and awful.

I remember hearing about this when it first happened. it is so disturbing. And cops wonder why people dont trust them.

I feel sick.
I refuse to watch that video, the text with it was enough for me. I do not care what the homeless guy did or did not do, he did not deserve to be beaten to death for it.

Disgusting depravity.

And basically all he did was get confused by the officers' instructions and ask for clarification, and then involuntarily thrash around while he was beaten and smothered to death.

Oh, and the picture I posted of the cop with his boo boo? I believe the DA was trying to use it to prove that the cops needed to use deadly force. "I punched someone and now my hand hurts real bad! That means I was attacked, right?"

Its the 'stay on ground' law. If you don't stay on the ground you can be killed

This is one reason people run when they see the cops. You never know what can happen. You never know if the city hired some nut ball who sound never have a gun and a power of authority. I know in each state, hiring process for cops are different, but i notice that in the big cities of america, it seems any one can become a cop. I know in New Orleans they hired people who failed the psych evaluation and was considered tooo dangerrous for duty!! Are you effen kidding me?

How can we trust a group of dangerous psychos? We can never be safe. if we comply we risk being beat, if we struggle we rish being beat even more. And dont have a seizure while cuffed, they may think you are putting up a fight. this is not the first nor will it be the last incident of a cop hurting or killing someone. lets just seeif this time, they will get the proper punishment. i wont hold my breath.
