Default NCIS (possible spoilers)

Anyone else watch NCIS?

All season we've been getting foreshadowing about the team possibly breaking up, hints that someone might die. And now the final episode of the season is called "Till Death Do Us Part." Think we're about to lose a major character? Who?

They've hinted like DiNozzo might leave at times, but would he leave if it were due to someone else's death? Or maybe it's Gibbs, and DiNozzo takes over? How about the nerdy guy who's been helping - could he take over in McGee's absence?

Does anyone else even care, and if so, do you have any guesses? Other than the fact they also seem to have hinted at DiNozzo having a new position, I don't have much in the way of guesses. This show will do anything!

LOVE LOVE LOVE NCIS!
It's the one show that I look forward too and yes, I realize that's pathetic. LOL! It's also one of the few shows that I watch in re-runs.

another NCIS fan and i don't see them killing off a major character. it'll be a secondary one, like last year.

i must watch too much tv because last night in my dreams i was in an episode of NCIS, while the night before i was in an episode of Desperate Housewives.

Another fan here. Actually a fan of NCIS LA as well.

No, I don't believe a major character is going to be killed or that the team will break up. They already did the breaking up of the team thing a few seasons ago.

I don't know... they aren't afraid to kill anyone on this show, and they have been foreshadowing all season. I think there is going to be a death that is no more peripheral than Jimmy or Vance (because I think there are some hints that either could go). I still think there's going to be a major change in the core of the group, and even those two would be more peripheral than what I expect. We'll see!

Hope it's not Vance; he is the best Director they have had.

I don't know that he's the best, but he's the first to stand up to Gibbs in a really meaningful way. I like their semi-combative relationship! I want to learn more about their history.

I don't know that it's going to be anybody like Gibbs, Abby, McGee, DiNozzo or Vance. If I had to take a guess, I'd say Ducky. He was hiding stuff (papers) from Gibbs whenever Gibbs came into the autospy room and just got his will in order, even though he came into the money causing the change in his will a while ago.

And I think as far as dramatic effect on the team, Ducky dying will have a major and longlasting effect. And will give the writers a lot to work with for many future episodes.

Just my thoughts.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

not Ducky; Pauley Perrette tweeted last week that he's signed on for another couple of years.

Well, Hooray! I was going to be super bummed if he was gone.

Then yeah, I'm hopping on board with a supporting character. Either the dorky Probie who had his tooth bugged or maybe Jack (was that his name? Used to work for Gibbs and got shot in Naples in either the last episode or the one before), or maybe the good mind games doctor who wants a relationship with Gibbs but keeps lying to him.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say the good doctor. She gives me the heebies. I hate when people play mind games and she's creepy in the way she plays them. I will almost positively be wrong, but I call that she had something to do with the "Watcher Fleet" and and it comes back to bite her in the beehind.

I had thought maybe Ducky, too, except he seems too obvious for the hints given.

I thought maybe the new probie would take McGee's place if something happened to him. Or McGee could step up into the DiNozzo role if he gets a new position elsewhere...

Why is Abby so loyal to Gibbs? Does she just have a crush on him or is there a history between them?

He is a father figure. She was adopted and her adoptive father is deceased. The both are proficient in sign language (American).

So I know this is a really old post, but did they ever say what Gibbs had as far as dirt on Vance? Do I remember him giving Vance back his "classified" personnel file back with all the dirt without reading it? Refresh me...it's been a while.

Also, what's been going on recently? I think I've only watched the 1st episode of this season. Did anybody actually die?

No Gibbs never looked at the file. He gave it back.
