this...
Even the model looks "toe-up" [sic] (tore-up/torn-up)
When.will.I.learn.not to buy from Victoria's Secret. I already know her secret...her clothes are usually crap!!!!!
They are actually selling them on the website now as the same sweater. I don't recall seeing that image when I placed the order, but regardless...which sweater are you selling???

^^ that's what I was going to post.
They do look very similar. I think the first one has long sleeves and the second 3/4 sleeves.
I don't usually get lacy sweaters because I worry how they will look after several washings.

It does not look as long either. I have had the same issues with them. I think their quality is bad bad bad.

I've always had good luck with Victoria's. My only problem is I don't look like those models.

Ugh. I totally understand! I bought a tank once and the quality was so crappy! And don't get me started on the skirtS I bought that were pure junk too.
Then again, I have bought some fabulous things from VS too. I have this wonderful navy blue with gold beading silk dress that I got from VS.
Definitely like going on a blind date. *shiver*

I think the impression that the second one is shorter has to do with her arm being raised. It's the same top to me.

Look closely...no, it's not. And, clearly, the quality of the second one is inferior. It's very flimsy; you can tell by how it hangs differently than the one in the first picture.
That said...I'm wearing it anyway, and it's actually kind of cute over a white cami and white shorts.
Even if it were the same, the quality is not what I expected. In the first picture, it look much more substantial. The yarn it's crocheted with reminds me of the kind you use to make a newborn's blanket.

I get cute stuff some of the time; in fact, some of the other things in this order were keepers. It's a crapshoot, though.
I get tired of everything being so sheer...another way to cut corners and quality, played off as "sexy."
That's not necessarily a problem, BTW!

Personally I think it's the same top. Different models but more importantly different photoshoppers.

It's the same top. In one photo the lighting is better and it's probably been steamed so any wrinkling of the cheap fabric fell out. Probably some retouching of the pic. That's all.
It takes some talent to shoot clothing and have it look more expensive than it is. That's the difference between the two pics, not the garment.

I also think it's the same top. The difference is that the second model took a nap in hers (at least that what it looks like).
How are those linen beach pants working out for you? I keep coming back to them, but haven't pulled the trigger. I want to buy 3 pairs, but I don't need anymore pants.

I also think it's the same top. I think in the first picture they pinned the shirt in the back to make it less loose on the model.

I don't think they are the same. The sleeves are clearly different lengths, and if you look really closely, you will see that the pattern is not the same. For example, the panel over the bust on the first sweater is solid, the panel on the second one is more sheer, much different. This may be what makes it look cheaper.

It's the same top, just different modeling and lighting.
The paneling in the top picture only looks different from the bottom because the model in the top picture is wearing a white bikini underneath, so the white is making it look like there is heavier stripes in the top. The model in the second picture is either wearing a nude bra or no bra, so you can completely see through to what appears to be skin.

It's a white bikini under the first versus a nude bra under the second.

Is definitely the same top. The stripes are the same, right down to the yellow crocheted line along the bottom. They are wearing different things underneath them in both pics, but totally the same top.

It's not the same top. Look at the stitching over the bosom. on th first sweater it's almost like a bikini top with a close-knit weave. Look at the same area on the seconde top the pattern of weave is different there are throughout the top. Kinda sucks to b duped like that.
