kasden, I had one of those! I gave it to my sister in law because I never used it. I really want to be a hot tea drinker, but I have to finally admit it's just not happening on a regular basis.

It's just the people who want me to dump half of the bottle in that make me nauseated. And believe it or not, a LOT of people want it like that. Like, all you can taste at that point is caramel! No matter how much you like caramel, that just seems gross to me!

I love it when I get to the bottom of the cup, and there's some caramel left at the bottom. That last sip is THE BEST!
Last fall I got a salted carmel iced coffee from Charbucks, it might have been salted carmel mocha? Anyway, I haven't seen it since, but it was delish! There were actual salt crystals sprinkled in the carmel. I drank mine and half of hubbies! (I love salt!)
Yum. I do really like that drink. So delicious! They smell sooo good when you're making them.

It's been really hot this week, so I did the cold brew iced coffee. It was delicious. Was going to take the plunge and buy the one from Amazon. I'm kicking myself--was at Costco this morning and didn't even let myself look at gadgets. Now, I have to go back.

So they are still around?? What are they called exactly? I don't go terribly often, and it's usually the drive through, not a lot of time to peruse the menu.

Also I have to ask.. this is my usual order, would it drive you nuts?

I will continue to use my container I got at King Arthur. I have the ratio down and I ain't messing with that! I make it once a week and it lasts most of the week-it's perfect. I need to stock up on my sweetened condensed milk from BJs

I had to look at my coupon booklet to see which ones they are (instant savings, no coupon needed) and they're the black handled type and it looks like it comes with one infuser for $14.99.

I did go over and buy this. It won't be good for the cold brew coffee because the strainer is too big. I have an insta hot and do iced tea all year around. Thought this would be good when my Bodum Ceylon pitchers go.

Had it in my cart--it was $24.99 first time I looked, so I was thinking that I'd have to buy something else. Just went back and it was $25. I don't understand because I used the same link. I put the $25 one in my cart, deleted the other==and got it with free shipping.

So my job was just restructured and a bunch of us are working together, in a new location, for the first time.

Several ppl in our group have mentioned getting a Keurig and splitting the cost among us...and as of yesterday, one was purchased. I wasn't in favor of this bc 1) I need to cut down on my coffee (i.e., cream) consumption and 2) honestly, I just like going Starbucks or Caribou or Cup O Joe or wherever else is close for my coffee. It's part of my morning routine and it's a welcome break to leave the bldg mid-afternoon if I want more.

I just don't want to kick in for this office Keurig! I think they are great for home or as gifts or whatever. But I personally like going somewhere and buying coffee that someone else makes for me.

Is that weird?

They're seasonal drinks, but a lot of stores still have the salt for them. It just depends on how much they stocked up around Christmas! You were correct - they're called Salted Caramel Mochas. WAAAAAAAH WAH WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAHHH!! I went through the SB drive thru last night & asked about the salted carmel mocha, "we can make it with everything but the salt" It's not a SALTED carmel without the salt!! Oh well...

Do you know when it will come back?

When I started in late September, they had just gotten the salt! Watch out for hubbub about the pumpkin spice latte, because they usually return right around the same time!

It's a very nice looking press but I don't get their arguments to buy/use it. I have 3 different presses, with 2 plasticy micro fine & 1 metal fine filters, use espresso grind in all of them and the only time I have grounds in my coffee is if I press it down too quickly. I've never had a sludge problem unless they're talking about the stuff on the bottom under the filter.
