I'll use:
NutraNail Green Tea Strengthener - put on every other night and remove weekly
Mango butter/avocado oil mix to moisturize - I'm going to shoot for 4x a day.

I'm going to keep my nails *gasp* bare the whole time. I'll post first pics on Friday.

yes, count me in. I just cut my nails, again, because 8 out of ten are peeling. The only ones that are okay are my thumbs.
I'll be using TIPS oil and Citra treatment, though I'm wondering if I should make a change, as I've been using it a couple months now with no change.
I am also taking Biotin.
I'll take some pictures for comparison this week.

Don't worry about the strengthener if you can't use it.

Me too, for sure!

Im growing out messy nails that have been under a layer of acrylic or gel for a year and a half. I miss long nails

My natural nails are usually weak and split on the sides.

I'm moisturizing with vitamin e oil, Sally Hansen cuticle cream, or shea scalp oil, a few times a day, alternately.

I'm also using Sally Hansen Nail Nutrition green tea and bamboo strengthener a few times a week.

Here are my really gross nails. They are probably the worst I have seen them in years. I was doing really good a few months ago but it all fell apart.

I will have to post what I will be doing for the challenge tomorrow.

My nails... I'm a biter when nervous but I'll stop to do this.

I will be moisturizing with hand cream and stuff like that and won't be using a strengthener due to my allergy to gelatin but I will use clear coat to keep me from biting my nail

A couple starter pics of my nails. I cut all 10 down last night. Might as well have them all at the same starting line, right?

crossing fingers that the pictures show up...

You have great nail beds

That thumb is huge! I have a squat little toe thumb. Super wide and short.

i'm in. my issue isn't really growth it's extreme dryness and vertical ridges. can i still join in?

i plan to moisturize with some sally hansen cuticle oil every night. i'm torn about my nails, on one hand polishing them keeps them from breaking and the vertical ridges are less visible but i feel they would absorb any "treatment" products better if they were left bare. what do you girls think about this? maybe the treatment products will still be beneficial over polish.

i'll take pics of my nails and products i plan to use tonight.

I'm probably still going to paint. I'll just use the treatment as my base coat as I usually do.

Ooh, can I join?

I'll be using a combo of a jojoba cuticle oil and Crabtree and Evelyn's gardener's hand cream as my moisturizers. I have a strenthener, too (I think it's Nail Life, but I'll have to check the bottle).

I'll be cutting my nails nice and short to start.

Ok. All trimmed down.

Left.

Right.

My moisturizer.

My strengthener is really low, so it got to thick to use. I'll look around today for something since I'm off.

My peelers are index through ring on my right hand. Probably use related.

I need to think of something for demo days. My hands spend the day in vinyl food service gloves, so my hands are pretty sweaty the whole time. It makes my nails waterlogged, and they are more prone to peeling then. Maybe I should oil them before I glove up? I don't know.

thank you, and, yeah, the thumb does look huge there, I almost didn't post that picture, but it showed the state of all five nails best.

Can you wear a nyplex gloves instead of the vinyl, or can you wear then cotton/silk gloves under the vinyl?
