it is fun and hard!!! there are a bunch of good pole competition videos on youtube to get you hyped.
i think i'm going to pass on pole classes for my workouts because it was hard on my thighs and arms. i was very bruise-y after a class. i love the music, flow and look when you know what you're doing but i was so worried about banging my knees on the floor i just couldn't get so into it. i bought some shoes that i love for that look. pole classes are sort of spendy and i don't like that you have to have, well a pole to practice or do the moves at home. so for now, i'm sticking with belly dance and i am going to take a chair dance class offered at the pole studio i go to. that's a cheaper prop that i could have in my house if i want to practice or perform.
cool that you've found something you enjoy!!
