Yes, some comic relief tonight! Pam and the preacher, both hilarious. And yes, I want the old, super gay Lafayette back, with his witty comebacks.
There was alot going on tonight but I liked it.

I love that too. Jason kicking Bill out is one of my favorite scenes to date.

Lafayette drinking Eric's blood, to heal his leg, still takes the cake for me "I just wanna effing dance!!" I was wondering how they would explain/translate the effects of 1000+ year old vamp blood from the book to the show. That was perfection. Sigh. I miss the old Lafayette too.

I wish Tara would have never got shot. It's like vampire Tara is tara's entire evil side when she was alive. All her anger is released. I think Jesus will come back cause last season he said it was only temporary remember. And sookie should have just told elseed (spelling?) the truth! I'm so excited for this season as I am for every season lol.

OMG!!! Lucky! I love her.

One of my friends, who lives in LA, and works in television production, met and hung out with Sam Trammell at a improv night. She also sat across from Alexander Skarsgard at a fundraising/concert event. I would have died, twice. She didn't speak to Alex but she said Sam is one of the nicest people she has ever met.

OMG, if Alexander Skarsgard was there today I would have died!

;D

Not True Blood related, but James Marsters was also there. I didn't have time to wait in line for a pic with him, but he was so funny and awesome during his Q&A panel.

Great pic!! How exciting

Yeah, my friend was sitting very close to him, but she said she couldn't open her mouth. All she could do was look, and drool. lol. I heard about his large golden arms for days. Torture.

Super cute photo!

I love the Pam character and I have loved James Marsters as Spike for years.

Interesting take on the Pam/ Eric backstory. In the books she was from the 1800's and a well born young lady that ran away to avoid a marriage if i remember correctly

Steve Newlin is cracking me up. Not sure if I'm going to like the Authority plot- it feels like the one that will be dragging on

Newlin was friggin' hilarious. The Authority plot is boring already. Found myself zoning out and planning my week during the monologue by the Lead Auhtority guy (cant think of his name right now)

I was thrilled to see a Pam & Eric backstory, and agree with you Spider about it being an interesting take. Pam was a young lady in the books who had a wealthy and powerful family. She was expect to act proper and marry a man her family had chosen, but she preferred to sneak out and fool around with other guys. Eric found her late one night when she was returning home. She was a little defiant and wild, but no madam.

I'm a bit intrigued by the authority plot. A few of the members are incredible actors. Love Doctore from Spartacus. I think the search for Russell Edgington has *potential* to break it up nicely.

I hated Tara as a human and I hate her even more as a vampire. Ugh. Happily tho, Lafayette is getting back to his bad gay self. Not sure I care about the Authority cut can't wait to see Russell's shenanigans. And I agree - Newlin is like a breath of fresh air. I'm lovin on Andy. And Jason is lookin hot in his uniform. Alcide. Yum. But the wolf pack story bores me.

When Jason said something about "That's like getting to eat the pie without payin for the cow." to Andy we had to rewind it and watch again. I couldn't stop laughing. That is him just totally effing up the "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free", right? Or is there some cow pie saying I've totally never heard?

We watched both episodes last night and I enjoyed them. Sookie's poor house, it's been through so much with all those dead people, parties and now Tara going batpoop crazy in it.

Jason does have a way with words. It adds to his charm. : )

Remember what Sookie's house looked like after the cow-woman and her cohorts took it over? I'm glad I don't let people visit me too often. hahaha.
