I would guess (without having read the books) that Lilith might exist or might have existed, but the Vampire Bible is a distorted account of what really happened, written to favour some political agenda. The show obviously embraces the supernatural, but their portrayal of organized religion has never been favourable.

I'm getting to the point, where i wan to know what happens! But i cant read the books, They are just so horrible written imo that I feel my iq drop as i turn the page. i got throught the first one and half of the second. then i couldnt take anymore so I gave them back to the library and read my biochemistry textbook.
