I've been suffering from the same dilemma, replace my antique 3G with the 4s or wait for 5? But as 5 hasn't been announced and 4G isn't available in the UK and probably won't be until the middle of next year I'll be getting the 4s this weekend.

Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Yeah, I'm not happy about Apple not giving us any info on the 5.

So I may just go down this week and get an iPhone 4s.
Then we won't have to worry about different accessories, etc. and we'll have a small data plan for traveling, etc.

It will be much better than the old Touch I have anyway.

On a side note, hubby finally got his New iPad and loves it!
It's cool, but it won't fit in my purses. LOL

I am almost positive the 5 will be out in the fall, just in time for Christmas.

texture - medium/fine, porosity - low/normal, elasticity - normal
co-wash - NaturelleGrow Coconut Water or Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark & Blue Malva Cleansing Conditioners
LI - KCKT mixed w/ SM C & H Curl & Style Milk
DC - NG Mango & Coconut H2O or Chamomile/Brdck Root
Gel - SM souffle (winter), KCCC (summer) or CR Naturals Aloe Whipped Butter Gel (year round)
Sealers - Virgin Coconut Oil, Avocado butter, Aloe butter
Ayurvedic treatments - Jamila Henna, Sukesh, Aloe Vera Powder, Hibiscus Powder
.

This just came out, and will affect those with data plans. Right now, it's an option, but if I activate a new data plan later, it will be mandatory. That kind of forces our hand to get it NOW. We already lost out on the unlimited (like my sis got).

Good grief, it sounds like we would have been paying even MORE for the plan we just signed up for if we had waited!! We're already paying for more than we'll likely use during a normal month, but it was the best option for the phones we got.

Mercy.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
spring, what plan did you get?

We did the nationwide 700 shared minutes.

We don't have a home phone and originally thought we should go with the 1400 minutes, but after we realized most of our family has Verizon as well and it won't count against our minutes to talk with them we decided to give the 700 a try. Plus Mr. Spring has a work phone (that they're allowed to use for personal calls) that I use to call my mom since she only has a land line. Generally when I talk to her it's for an hour or more every few weeks and my minutes would go quick.

The only thing that helps me justify spending so much on a cell phone plan is that we don't have a home phone.

So then you have a $30 data plan to share? Or each phone?

I'm going by Target to check it out.

You don't have a Costco membership do you?

You might be able to look it up on their website, but the big thing is the sales tax. If you get it anywhere else you're going to pay tax on the RETAIL price of $650 or whatever it is, NOT the promotion price of $200 (just giving examples here, I don't know the exact prices). So even though you're only paying $200 for the phone in CA, you have to pay sales tax on the $650. For whatever reason at Costco they only charge tax on the promotional price that you get using a plan. Plus you get a free accessory pack and if it was a new plan you'd get a rebate on the activation fee. It saved us $50 in tax getting it there then $70 on activation fees. You could call them and ask ahead of time though just to make sure before you go in.

One caveat there was the phone had to be shipped to us since they didn't have it in store which didn't bother me, but I'm not sure about the iPhone if they carry it in store or not. The extra savings was worth the wait for me.

And you'll see my reply to you on FB as well, but I've just remembered they don't carry the iPhone at the wireless kiosk in the store so disregard everything I just said! Sorry!

I upgraded to the Iphone 4s a couple of months ago from a 3. I LOVE IT. I use it more than I do my netbook. The camera is awesome. I am like someone else-I probably am only using 15% of the features but those I love. I forget to use siri. But I just realized I could use her for text messages so I can 'text' while I drive and not be typing! It worked great when my sister was texting me when she arrived at the airport and I was driving to get her. B gets a corporate discount so I pay about $70 for unlimited data but I only get 200 text because I do not text much. That is with AT&T.

goldy, before we moved here Mr. Spring was visiting CA and looking into getting a new phone and the sales rep at the Sprint store told him about it. While we were at Costco I had totally forgotten about it, but the guy helping us said "And you'll save about $50 in tax..." and went on to explain it and I remembered that's why we got the phone in CT instead of waiting until we moved. I don't know if it's state wide, but the first we heard of it Mr. S was in San Diego and now we're near San Francisco and it was the same information.
