I watched that show!!!!

And the one that was on before it with that sea monster - that ended with a cliffhanger and never returned either.

What About Brian did the same thing to me. I was so sad.

I forgot about Freaks and Geeks.

That show had unusually good character development, and a great soundtrack. Remember the guidance counselor? Or the time Ben Stiller played a bodyguard for some politician?

Sigh.

It was such a cliffhanger too! Ugh. I also watched Point Pleasant (a kid of the devil series) and liked it. I think they got pushed out by shows like Lost, 24, and Alias (all popular that year).

Another +1 for Pushing Daisies, and another one ABC slept on - the Middleman with Natalie Morales and Matt Keeslar. It aired on ABC Family for one season.

Ooh thought of an oldie I loved. It was called A Year in the Life. It was an ensemble cast of a family (kinda like Parenthood or Brothers and Sisters).

It starred a young Sarah Jessica Parker, Adam Arkin, oh and that blonde girl from Can't Buy me Love.

I think the writer's strike really did ABC in.

Add me to the list for Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money.

I also miss, Freaky Links....no one knows this TV show, and now, Awake. Yeah, they wrapped it up but I wished I could have seen where they would take it.

Count me in for Pushing Daisies (loved), My So Called Life, and Flash Forward.

I'll also add The United States of Tara which aired on Showtime 09'-11'. It starred Toni Collette and focused around her character having dissociative identity disorder. I was in awe of this show. Utterly amazing.

The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, HBO, 2009. This started Jill Scott and focused around her starting a detective agency in Botswana. It was based on a novel. I found it delightful, but apparently not many others did.

Oh- and Dirt, FX, 2009 maybe. 2 seasons, Courteney Cox. Centered around a sleazy tabloid rag and had too many crazy story lines.

Lipstick Jungle. Can't remember the network or year.

Yes it definitely was .

I want to add pan am to the list, not because it was 'awesome' but because it had potential. The looming threat of cancellation forced the writers into rushed storylines.

I liked Pan Am too, but I wished they would change some of the actors. Stiff as a board!

I'm just glad they wrapped it up. I liked it so much more than Touch. It was a really neat concept.

I liked Dirty, Sexy Money and Dirt also.

+1 for Freaky Links. I loved that show! I used to have a huge crush on Ethan Embry.  It was well before shows like Supernatural became popular. They show the reruns all the time on Chiller.

And let me add Carnival, lol, HBO, 2003-2005. Stunning and eerie show. It was set in 1934. A young fugitive named Ben Hawkins joins a traveling mystic carnival and all hell breaks loose. Literally. It starred several people but Michael J Anderson from Twin Peaks was one of my favorites.
