Do any of you keep a prayer journal like write your prayers and keep them in a notebook. I do it's kinda like a diary but it's what I pray filling the pages not random stuff

I do it because it's like writing letters to god and helps me keep track of my life and walk with Christ

Yes, sort of.

I based it on the idea of "Morning Pages" where, in order to clear your mind and unleash your creativity, you fill three pages with freeform thought every morning as soon as you wake up.

But that just seemed toorandom, so I focused it as freeform, written conversations w/ God.

I love the idea but I rarely wake up early enough to do it.

I write in my prayer journal mainly when I'm feeling a little distant from god or when I need to pray. I have a lot going on right now

I do but mine is more in the form of poetry. It really helps to let go and move forward. It's also the way of getting an answer to a question I don't quite know how to ask.

I try to write but then I go months without it. Then I feel awkward, like I'm talking to myself, lol. I prefer to paint to destress.

I do this (: I actually just keep a journal. But, sometimes I want to write out my thoughts/prayers to God. I usually like to pray to God in my 'thoughts' instead of out loud or on paper :P.

ETA:

I do this with song lyrics :P. I can only write a good song if I'm angry or depressed.

I don't write down my prayers. Maybe I should so I don't forget what I've prayed. I do, however, write down the dreams God gives me.

Sometimes I write down my prayers? But I like doing it in my head when something occurs to me ( I figured it would be odd of me to start praying in the middle of class, haha) or I barely whisper it when I feel like I need to pray
