I almost married someone with the last name of "Mullet." (The family spelled it with one "t" to distinguish themselves from their Amish relations, who still use two.)
I had no intention of taking his name.

I knew a guy in college named Nimrod. I'm not an endearment type of person, but if I had dated him it would have "honey" this and "baby" that. Hell, "papi" would be preferable.
I went on a couple of dates with a man who's last name was Crap*******.

I've had long-term relationships with a Tarik (pronounced Ta-reek) and an Iarla (pronounced EAR la). The name Tarik is not so much unusual as it is uncommon. I wasn't embarrassed by either name, though.

I briefly dated a guy who looked like a young John Schneider (Bo Duke). Unfortunately, I'd have to give his full name for you to see the humor. I wish I could because it was hysterical, but I typically called him 'come here'.
A woman who worked administration, at a school I attended, had a hyphenated name plate on her desk that read: (first name) Fingers-Cox's. I laughed hysterically every time I walked out of the office.
I also have a family members named Dike and Tinker. Both males. I've wanted to ask their parents, "why?" On several occasions.

Well, I dated an Andre and a Maurice. I hate those two names, but they're not embarrassing, per se.
As an aside, a couple moved in near us whose last names are D*ckensheets and S*xton. Like, seriously? It's even funnier to me that they're a gay couple.

A friend of mine conducts polls over the phone. He has some great names of people he has to call. My favorite so far was a Willy Wigglebottom. There was also a D'Nasty. My friend decided to ask for "Dynasty" but was told he meant "Dee Nasty."

I dated a guy named Scooter. Yes, his parents named him that. Yes I was an idiot. Yes I was a teenager and I hope that's excuse enough.
I sorta dated a guy with the last name Handcock and I could never get over just how dirty that name sounds. I really want to tell y'all his first name because it makes it even worse, but it is the internet and that would just be creepy.
Slightly related, but in my hometown there is a dentist named Toof A. Boone. If I remember correctly the family has a long line of dentists and there is a Jr. and Sr. Toof.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

My son's father wanted to seriously name him Spike. We argued over it for weeks. I won.

Didn't date them, but went to school with two boys whose last name is Horr, pronounced like 'whore,' I guess it is good they did not have sisters.
