Default your favorite comfy shoes

I love Birkenstocks; I own 3 pair and am looking to get another pair soon.

Sometimes, I need sneakers to run around and play in. I hate to admit, but the most comfy ones I've ever had were Sketchers' shape-up knock-offs. I have worn them out and am shopping for new sneakers. I am considering the actual Shape-ups this time. I don't believe they do anything they claim to do, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the thick padding under my feet! Way better feeling than regular running or walking shoes!

What are your favorite comfy shoes?

My Attilio Giusti Leombruni flats. They were pricy but so worth it because they're the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them with everything.

Seconding the Birkenstocks, I have one pair that I barely take off.

I have been a lover of Dansko/Sanita clogs for a long time, but started getting into Cydwoq (pronounced sidewalk) handmade all-leather shoes a couple years ago. At about $300 a pair, I cannot afford to buy them fresh from the factory, but they come up on eBay quite often, so I've been collecting them from there at reasonable cost. I recently acquired these lovely flats...OMFG, so comfortable, like they were custome made for me...and I get compliments everywhere I go...so artsy/fairy/elvish with it's little pointed/turned-up toe.

And these delightful flip flops, in RED:

My favorite sneakers are these, but mine are completely black and grey, although I do like the pink sole on that pair. They are SO comfy, I feel like I'm wearing my slippers all day. I got mine for about 45$, I wouldnt pay 70 for a pair of shoes, but I'm pretty frugal when it comes to shopping.

Birkenstocks! They are soooo comfortable. I have flat and wide feet and they're divine. I own the Florida Soft Beds. I wear them all over campus. I'm not trying to be a fashionista at school, I'm just trying to be comfortable!

SO bought me these for my birthday and I absolutely love them. I have wide feet and these are perfect. All day running around and I don't overheat or get blisters. They're awesome.

New Balance True Balance sneakers.

They are supposedly 'toning' but I didn't know this when I tried them on and omg comfort. I can't say I notice anything toning about them.

Mine are black and pink and cost the grand sum of £30. I only wear them at work when in going to be on my feet all day.

My preference is rubber flip fops. I have a pair of Teva I love and a pair of Volatile. But many different kids w/ thick soles would work.

Obviously, I can't wear them in the winter or to work so I go w/ other options.

Right now I am wearing a pair of 5.25" cork platforms (not wedges) by Guess and they are ridiculously comfy.

You just never know!

Crikey, woman!

I think we are the same height. Go you! Everyone I work with is like 5'6" and under, including the men. I already feel like an Amazon.

It used to be Tevas, but for over a year now, I've really been loving Crocs. I even have a pair of sandal-like Crocs that I wear as slippers around the house.

I don't have a favorite pair of comfortable shoes right now. My favorites were ruined during a leaking closet flood in 01'. Although I have several great pairs of comfortable shoes, nothing has taken their place. Nbr 1 spot is still held by my Doc Martens, circa 93'.

They had rainbow laces and threading. I took dance classes in them and wore them with everything. They were in good shape when destroyed. Just needed to be resouled. Nbr 2 belongs to 99' Born platform sandals.

I've had 2 foot surgeries so my feet are peculiar. Birkenstocks absolutely murder the pads of my feet.

I don't but I can get sore feet in them which I don't usually get in my Doc's...plus converse are a murder to get wet! It's for this reason I wear them far less
