What are you scared of that will (probably) never happen
My two main ones are:
1) quicksand
2) Ebola
I worry that I may get Ebola. And I worry that I'm going to fall into quicksand if I'm walking through the woods. Leprosy is another though more minor worry.

Yall know those grates in the street? the ones that either led to the subway, sewers, no where, impending doom, faraway magical land.... Well I'm afraid i'll fall through one and end up in the sewer, subway tracks, hell, faraway magic land... It won't happen will it? Can it? I'm a bit afraid.

Edited because I'm too scared of these things actually happening to leave them out there.

I would say being haunted by a ghost with an evil agenda or a poltergeist.
But mostly, I abide by the "never say never" mentality. And after watching too many episodes of "I Survived" I am sad to say that just about anything horrible that you can imagine can (and does) happen.

Running up the stairs, tripping and knocking out my front teeth. I know it's not going to happen but I always run my tounge over my teeth when I get to the top.

That an airplane is going to crash into my house.
Very real to me. Since ive been a kid. When I hear a plan flying over my house loudly, I hold my breath and mildly panic.
That an 18 Wheeler truck is not going to see me/or fall asleep at the wheel, change lanes, and take out my car. Same response as above when I go past on one the highway.

We live under the airport and air national guard flight paths. This is a very real fear for me! Especially on the days where I see random smoke coming from the direction of runways and don't know for sure that it's some sort of drill they're running. There is a strip of land owned by the airport in case things fall off on takeoff or there's a crash landing, and we can see it from the barn.
I always have nightmares of things happening to those I love or my horse. I have major fears of things happening to either my mom or one of the horses where I can't get help fast enough but can't help on my own.
Springcurl - I've ridden a horse through quicksand! It wasn't very deep, and quicksand isn't usually very deep. She was able to walk out of it, and the mark on her legs went to just above her knees from how deep it was - she walked along the bottom of it. So quicksand doesn't scare me so much.

When I was really little (1 or 2), I was jumping on my parents' bed and I fell and smacked my face into their hardwood headboard. I pushed my baby teeth way back up into my gums and left small indents on my to-be adult teeth! Anything is possible.
My big fears involve drowning. I think it would be the absolute worst way to go.
