Default Anyone ever have epidural (spinal) steroid injections?

Hey, stab in the dark...LOL

Did they work to relieve your pain? If not, how quickly did the effects wear off (if you noticed any effects at all)? Did you have any adverse side effects?

Crimson? Poppers??? Anyone?

My SIL gets them and they work for her. My hubby has had one or two and they didn't work for him. She gets them maybe twice a year I think. No bad side effects for either of them.

Sorry, not really much help.

My husband had a series of 3 epi steroid injections last year (according to the ortho surgeon, you can only have 3 per year). They.Did.Nothing. No adverse side effects. No help for his lower back pain either.

He had L2-L3/L3-L4 discectomy surgery later in the year, and is much better now.

I had one in my neck three weeks ago. I've got two herniated disks and this was the last step before surgery. I was very skeptical but since we have no insurance this step was cheaper and obviously much less invasive than surgery. I am really happy with the results so far and so is my doctor. My pain is much reduced. I'm able to do a lot of the exercises my physical therapist wanted me to do before but the pain was too great. I've got some nerve damage in my hand still but the doctor says that will heal with time. Over all he's very optimistic and so am I.

What type of injury are you dealing with, spiderlashes?
