I used to buy Fiji water in h.s. all the time, it had a unique but good taste. I think Poland springs and deer something (park maybe?) water is fine too. I don't really care as long as it's filtered. At home I just drink filtered water from my pur filter. I can't be paid to drink northern VA tap water, this stuff smells like bleach. I did drink tap water in NYC, tasted fine to me.

I usually drink tap or the gallon store brand drinking water. Most bottled water tastes worse than tap to me. The only one I like is Fiji, I usually only get it when I'm out and I have to buy bottled water or if I feel like spoiling myself. I haven't tried Evian. Dasani and aquafina are the worst to me.

We have a SodaStream machine and I love it. It just carbonates your regular water...you can have lots of bubbles, or just slightly carbonated, and you can add your own flavor if you want. I add a splash of condensed juice every once in a while, but usually just like it plain.
I don't buy bottled water, because the amount of waste just really bothers me. We have a filter on the tap that we use, and just refill reusable bottles. So much less waste that way. I'll only buy bottled water if I"m out and forgot my reuseable bottle. And then I just buy whatever's cheapest.

Mainly drink filtered from our tap (straight from the tap has a little bit of a funky taste), but I like Fiji for bottled.

I drink unfiltered tap water. Even with the krypto scare in WI and the rotten egg smell of well water in SC, I still prefer regular tap water.
But Smartwater is cool, too.

I like Ice Mountain, Smart Water (I like looking to see what animal I got), and the gallon bottle water you can get at Speedway gas stations. I don't know the brand. I like Ice Mountain because to me, it tastes the most like the refrigerator filtered water and that's my favorite. I'm pretty okay with drinking tap water as long as it's cold.

I have my own bottle that I refill with filtered tap water, which I can get at home, my yoga studio and most work sites …
Bottling and shipping something basic like water is a horrific waste of resources. That is a huge turn off to me.

Another Fiji-fan. I like that silica mouth feel. Mmmm.
That said, I drink filtered water at home (our fridge water dispenser has a filter) or tap water at work. I was on a major flavored water kick for years but I gave it up; I felt REALLY guilty about putting all that plastic into the world. Even though I recycle everything I can recycle, I still felt guilty. So I bought a water bottle from Target and use that all day long.
But when we're road-tripping? Fiji all the way.
ETA: Dasani tastes awful to me - it tastes like the plastic bottle. I don't like diet Coke in bottles either, so I'm guessing it's the plastic the Coke company is using that gives whatever's in it a distinctly nasty whang.

I don't really drink bottled water. I typically drink tap. I think there was even a news segment on how bottled water isn't even better for you, usually tap water is safer. I think I remember reading or seeing somewhere that bottled water is sometimes worse since they are not under strict regulations like tap water (kinda like how energy drinks aren't closely watched because it has added vitamins in it, etc.) IDK. I'm poor and would rather get free water.
At home, I usually put my tap water through my Brita, but I feel that's unnecessary.

I do miss having a filter in the fridge so I can just fill and go, I think I'm lazy. Our fridge now doesn't have one so I use a Mavea pitcher with a filter that I won from a give away. I really like having cold water without having to put ice (or just a cube or two) in it and my insulated stainless CamelBak kicks BUTT at keeping stuff cold.
I think back several years ago when I bought bottled to keep in the fridge. What was I thinking! Thank goodness for reusable insulated bottles.

I just drink unfiltered tap water unless that's not available. Our water tastes pretty good and the amount of waste associated with bottled water makes me cringe. I'm not even a hardcore environmentalist but I figure this is one easy thing I can do.

Is this the one you can add all the pop flavours too? My Mom like weird pop (she's always buying cranberry, or blueberry or something strange) and thought she might like this. I didn't realize you could just do carbonated water though. She is a bit of a Perrier junkie (only reason I have it in my fridge is for when she comes over), so she may like that she can do her own.
Do you use it much, or just another gadget taking up space in the kitchen?

I like the water from my fridge best, but my favorite bottled water is Kroger Purified drinking water. Nestlé water is gross, it has a weird taste, almost sweet, like they added too many minerals to it? Smart Water and fresh spring water is pretty good too.

Smart Water. I adore it and the large bottles. I take 2 bottles to work so I can sip throughout my shift. That night I'll typically fill them up with well water from home.
