The pill decisions pls help
 

I feel werid even thinking about this because i wont to either use a sperm donor or adopt. but I've been thinking of getting on the pill and using comdoms because am going to college soon and I want to be safe. Not get pregant until right time but I want to try so soon I wonder if the pill will intfer with my plans

I'm not really sure what you're asking, but I was on the pill for almost 10 years and went off it to try to conceive and was successful within 3 months. It can take a longer or shorter amount of time for some people, but that happens with or without having been on the pill.

But if you want to protect yourself, just go to Planned Parenthood. I usually put that I have no income (because I don't) and they give you a free supply of birth control pills for an entire year. They also give you a bunch of lube, condoms, etc.

Just look up Planned Parenthood, call and set up an appointment. It's great too if you're on your parents insurance and you don't want them to know that you're sexually active. Sadly, I know a lot of woman who have to do it this way because their parents are in denial about their daughters have sex and they're 100% against it anyway.

Birth control is great. It has helped me tremendously with mood swings related to PMS and I no longer get cramps (only minor when period comes on).

If you want to get pregnant just get off the pill. It'll take a few months to get back on track, but it shouldn't cause you any harm.

The only problem is that BC causes women to be attracted to men they really shouldn't be attracted to (women on BC prefer men that smell like them, when you're supposed to prefer men who smell differently) and it might have a lot to do with divorce rates, IMHO. A lot of women that I know, once they got off BC they couldn't stand their husbands. Could be due to the smell, since someone who smells like you is either related to you or you won't produce the healthiest offspring. It's a natural response to find someone that smells like you repulsive (when it comes to mating, etc.)

Sorry i wasnt clear I want to know if it was a good idea to take BC pills or not cus I plan on have childern soon like with this year or next year.

I feel like if you want to have children within the year, just use condoms until you're ready. It takes three months for your body to get 100% used to the BC. Seems useless to only take it for a few months at most and stop halfway so that you can get pregnant.

Yeah, but the same is true of women who aren't on the pill. They just have different, but equivalent, smell preferences.

Why not just let the guy you're having sex w/ impregnate you?

Yes I do want kids but I want to make sure the my financial situation is better

But if money is an issue, why go to a sperm bank? Why not just get knocked up for free like everyone else? LOL

Nothing a one-night stand can't fix. Pick a hot one (who drives a nice car, maybe he can pay lots of child support???). Then you're set for 18 yrs. Put on your best heels and hit the club!

Yes trust me thought about it I just want a planned pregnancy and taking a chance of getting stds
