Being an actress can suck because:
I am constantly. and I mean constantly looking for a job. Even when I get a gig, I have to think about when the next one is coming.
Sometimes the rejection can get you down. For the most past, I'm ok. But every once in a while I feel a bit broken.
Feast or Famine.
It can be a scheduling nightmare. I go months with nothing going on but Disney (Thank goodness for that gig, even if it is part time) Then I get a show, and 4 opportunities come along that I have to turn down because of the show. Where were they 2 months ago.

I'm black and I can't sing. BOO!!!
It is awesome because:
Never bored
New adventure ( character, cast, theatre, city)
There is a real sense of family in each theatre town I've worked in. I so love my Orlando peeps.
We know how to have a good time
This was from a shoot a did this weekend with the cast of an annual show called Phantasmagoria. It was for the Red Chair Affair. Basically it's an event that kicks off the new arts season each year.
