Olympic swim trials
Anyone else been watching?
I must say, I am REALLY enjoying watching those male swimmers on my HDTV 
Michael Phelps is still amazing.

I have a serious crush on Ryan Lochte. I never noticed him with the longer hair last Olympics but his new cropped cut makes him look handsome.  Also I saw a Mother's Day segment with him and his mom on the Today Show. They were so cute and his mom was trying not to cry the whole time.

Hey, I'm not saying Lochte won't do in a pinch; I'm just saying that if I had my druthers, I'd choose Phelps. Usually I prefer curlies, but Phelps is slightly leaner than Lochte, and somehow, that floats my boat.

I'm sorry! But I dont like Phelps! I dont think he's good looking, I hate the way he speaks. They try to make him out to be this huge deal. They named a street after him in Baltimore after the first olymics. WTH?? For why? Baltimore has produced alot better people who could have streets named after him. They talk about what a role model he is, but then he gets busted for DUI (I believe he may have even been underage, but dont quote me on that), and he was caught smoking weed, but wasnt even arrested. Let me get caught smoking weed, my life is over!!
I know alot of celebreties has it this way, and i dont like them either, but I got extra beef with Phelps, because I have told a few folks I am from baltimore and they get all fangirl," OMG have you met Michael Phelps?" NO!! And I dont want to!! Where's John Water's street? He deserves it a lot more! I want a Zappa Blvd! Ripkin St? Unitas Rd?
Disclaimer: I am Bias to John Waters (met him and am a huge fan), Cal Ripkin (been to his house, although he wasn't there  ), and Johnny Unitas (my family knew him and can attest what a wonderful human being he was. Even at the height of his success he was very humble and down to earth).
Disclaimer 2: No problem with folks smoking weed, just saying Phelps is a law breaker! Shame shame!

I understand. There should be a John Waters Street, although I'm still mad at him about the chicken-killing.
I just have the hots for Phelps, which doesn't mean I think he's the best person to ever come out of Baltimore.
