Ha. I had a similar thought. I just bought someone the Sprinkles cupcake mix from Williams-Sonoma.

We call them Jimmies - I love the chocolate ones on donuts, icecream, anything sweet.

To me, sprinkles are just for decoration. They are like little hard pieces of colored sugar. I don't get why people like them so much.

Is this a poll that I can't view? (on the app)

That being said I used to love rainbow jimmies but now that I avoid artificial food coloring I rarely eat sprinkles.

I do like to call them jimmies, just for fun. I grew up calling them sprinkles

I like the rainbow ones, but specifically the little round dot ones like these rainbow sprinkles | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Not these: http://www.aduckinherpond.com/wp-con...-sprinkles.jpg

ETA: I don't like them on ice cream, but love those little dots on cakes or cupcakes.

Sprinkles to me are flavorless crunch, its a texture thing. I dont like anything crunchy/hard in ice cream. Same reason I dont like chocolate chip ice cream. The crunch is weird. I'll ea chocolate chips alone, but won't eat sprinkles alone. They have no taste to me?

Sprinkles aren't hard or overly crunchy to me. They kind of have a texture all their own. Kind of a soft crunch.

There's a guy who plays for Pioneer Valley Roller Derby whose derby name is Rambo Sprinkles. I'm p!ssed I didn't think of that first.

Me too! They're gross

...I also hate frosting other than a rich chocolate or cream cheese frosting.
