Rate this look: Cycle 2 # 5
Too many shadows, whispering voices, faces on posters, too many choices...but let's rate this one on a scale of 1-10 (10 is the highest).

She looks smart. But the fascinator kills it for me.
And why are you quoting the Pet Shop Boys? I still like that song, BTW.

West End Girls!
Something about the dress looks a bit frumpy to me. I think it's the way the waist is gathered and the high neckline and cap sleeves. Her figure looks good and I like the color, though. The shoes are blah, and I don't care for the hat. I give it a 4 overall.

Oh, yeah. Duh! (Although I didn't know she was from the West End of London).

She's not...but I don't know any songs about women from Leeds!
Gotta improvise! (And at least people are noticing...finally!)

It looks good on her but the top needs less I think. Not sure about the purse, all I can see is the gold side.

I'll give it a 5 over all and a 9 if she's going to church. That screams church, imo.
Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?

i actually like the hat/fascinator. It's something about the ruffles and the cinching at the waist that is not mixing well. and yes, the shoes are boring.
I give it a 5

I quite like this! I give it an 8.5
The combination of orange and navy is quite daring, yet she pulls it off very well. The shoes are very classic and simple, which is always a plus. The metallic bag is a great choice for summer and really plays up the bright orange in the dress. Her make-up is also nice, as is the fascinator.
The only bit I don't like is her hair! It just seems like an afterthought.

I think it's "bloody awful"...as I think most of her outfits are. This dress looks like it was made from a disposable plastic table cloth. Or is part of a kids' Halloween costume.
I wish she would dispense w/ the hats and focus on buying some decent clothes.
She and her sister are really lost IMO and no one wants to tell them.
Her hair and make up are always nice, tho. And she's appropriately covered and everything fits right. So I'm giving her a 3.

If, when, why, what?
How much have you got?
Now that song is in my head, lol.
She gets a 10 for the hat! I love the hat.
I think her dress fits well. While she's dressing older, it's probably suitable for the place and role.
I almost started a thread about her recent green/teal gown. Loved it. Still can't post pics from the app, though.
Siri types my posts for me.

I love the hat. I love hats in general. I wish more people would wear them. I just purchased shelving for my hat and shoe closet
I can't quite put my finger on what I don't like. I like the color combo, I like the bag, and I like the cut of the dress- for some occasions. It is very modest and appropriate, but overall it falls in the meh department. Don't love it, don't hate it.

I don't think the dress is flattering on her figure. It seems to go out of its way to emphasize the fact she has a very small bust. And the silhouette is very plain but the red/navy color scheme and the metallic stripes are loud and tacky and over the top. The contrasting band at the bottom is something usually done on much more casual dresses.
And she should have done a metallic or nude sandal. The shoes and clutch look too heavy and dark.
It's all wrong!!!!!!!!

I think her bust looks fine. I'd have to give her points if she's not worried about making her breasts look larger.

I don't like the navy band at the bottom. Don't like the ruffles and red is not a good color on her.
I like the hat.
I give her a 4.

Lol. I agree 200% about the shoes. It would be better with a nude. Though, I did have to admire them for a moment. I've been looking for the perfect pair of navy heels, forfreakingever! Those are not it, but... My iPhone is not reading the metallic stripes. I was zooming in, trying to see what was between the ruffles, but it became fuzzy.
Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?

I think she looks great. Very few women can carry off horizontal stripes without being tall skinny model-esque ectomorphs. Pippa is short, curvy, and not-skinny, yet looks fab in anything/everything. I wish Kate would put on a few pounds...she'd probably look as fantastic as Pippa, rather than like she's about to die from starvation.
The dress and shoes are conservative, but, judging by the hat, she's probably attending a stuffy British event, so it's probably appropriate. I'm giving her a 9.
